The Grand Reset (Book 2 Withering Away The Clock)

Memory jog

My past. I mean I came here to find out more about it. I guess I should have some questions but I don't even know what I don't know. I wanted to know my name and I got it but it was overall underwhelming. I just want my memories back. I asked 12 "Hey can you possible do something that might jog my memories. I felt like they were almost back when I went to the white void maybe their's something that meant a lot to me in my previous life something that would jog my memory."

12 sighed "I can't think of anything that could mean more to you then the white void." I sighed and said "Yeah that makes sense that was my home after all." 1 jumped in the conversation "What about your grave their might be something their. Maybe your missing a piece of your self." I asked "What do you mean a piece of myself." She kept going "Well depending on how they killed you some of your body might still be in their. Our bodies are immortal yes but they can't make a one for one recreation of everything. Stuff like skin and muscle shouldn't be an issue but if you were killed by an action that got to your brain then some bits of it might still be in their."

My brain might still be inside my grave. That's unsettling to think about but even worst she might be correct if she is correct then how will I get my memory back? I think for now we just test if they're even their in the first place. I tell the two of them to were to go but 12 didn't budge. I asked him why and 1 told me "As long as time is broken he making sure things flows in the Land of Time he can't move. Just tried your best not to think about it." 

This time she was the one avoiding eye contact with me as we left the glass she didn't even look back as she raised the ground beneath back to the surface. We ran to the grave yard and look for the time travelers. When we did we started to dig it up little by little until I hit grabbed something squishy it wasn't dirt or anything that should be in the group.

I raised up my hand from the ground and blow the dirt off of it to reveal a pink blob. With out a doubt this was it my brain. 1 looked at it and said "So it really was here we should keep digging maybe more of your brain in their." I just nodded and kept digging both me and 1 grabbed more and more of my brain before their was none left." 5 pieces their were 5 pieces of brain but the question is how do we jog my memory.

Well one brought it up one should have a plan. I ask "So what are we going to do with these things." She looked away and said "Well it might hurt but were going to have to cut your head open." I screamed "Theirs no way that would really hurt." She said "Yeah yeah I know but if it makes you feel better I won't be doing will get a surgeon to do it."

I yelled "What are you going to do with my head." She started to explain "Well it's true your brain can't make a one for one replacement but if your brain already their it can doesn't have to replace it. It can just replace the in between. So basically we remove the parts of your brain that have those parts and put the original parts in." "Nuh uh No way."

Excusing the fact that would hurt like hell their something else I'm way more worried about 1 said "Hey it's OK will make sure you can't feel a thing." I said "No that's not it that's not what I'm worried about. Well it kind of is but I can't get rid of these memories." 1 face got grim "What did you say?" I took a deep breath and look at her straight in the eyes "I said I can't get rid of these memories of Adam!" 

She got really mad at that she started yelling "Don't you care about your past doesn't that matter to you. What did we come all the way here from then HUH!" I looked down I didn't know what to say we dug this grave out for nothing I said "I'm sorry I really am but I didn't think getting my old memories back would replace my new one." She yelled "Don't you want to know don't you want to remember there's so much pack in those 5 pieces so much you can't even comprehend."

I yelled "I DON'T WANT IT!!" She grinned and said "Fine be that way 11. I don't know what happened to you back there but it's clear to me that all these time traveler do is ruin everything we worked for."

She dashed away from me and I speed I couldn't keep up with as much as I tried. I looked ahead and saw what she was heading for The White Void. She's after Adam and Rachael. I closed the portal just before 1 could reach inside. She turned around and said "What in the world are you doing."

The anger in her eyes I felt fear just looking at them but I stood up to her once and even battled with her before I can do this. I said "I-I don't think you should meet them yet I think we should discuses this more before we start doing thing w-e mig--ht regret." 

1 went towards me and said "It's to late for that right now I feel nothing but regret. I should have looked harder I should have dragged you away by force but I thought maybe you get your memories back and stop the time travelers when they least expected it but here we are I let them go thinking you could have done it and here we are." She turned around and grabbed me and gave a death stare and said "Open up the portal. I'm not going to regret anything ever again." I said "What are you planning to do with them."

1 said "Isn't it obvious I'm going to kill them. I don't care if those kids say we need them I don't care if you like them I don't care that 12 says we need them. I sick and tired of them ruining everything. So I'll say this nicely your going to open that portal."

I looked at her with courage straight in the eye to and I exclaimed proudly "I won't open the portal or killed the people I care about." She laughed like a psychopath I wasn't expecting that but I think I truly broke her. After she was done laughing she said "Fine then I do it by force. I get of them then I get rid of the diseases that fills your brain even if I have to do it by force." After she finish speaking she punched me the first clash of our second battle.
