Meri POV:

We finally landed in Belgium and I took my luggage out from the overhead locker. I slowly made my way to the door and thanked the flight attendants, trying to get out as quick as possible.

I just wanted to get in the building, listen to what UN and maybe EU has to say, stay in the probably small room all day, and leave. I have my priorities set straight and I'm not here to change them.

Timeskip to after he finds the rest of the luggage off the conveyor belt

I finally got to sit down. Well, until the taxi came. Then I could sit again.

I was wondering why I didn't see Myanmar anywhere, maybe she couldn't find her luggage from the conveyor belt? In any case, I'm sure she'll be fine. She knows self-defense really well.

After a while the taxi arrived and I hopped in. I'm not sure if I'm just early or the taxi is just late. Or both. The man helped me with my luggage and I thanked him. I was still tired but I tried to stay awake for the entire ride.

A while later...

We had FINALLY arrived in Brussels, Belgium. I wanted to run in there and fall flat on the floor, no joke. I walked into the building and saw a lot of panicking countries. I walked past all of them and bumped into someone.

"Ouch- oh, hey bro!"

I knew that voice anywhere.

"Canada!" I hugged him and smiled. "It's nice to see you again, how are you doing?"

"Im great, how are you? You seem different." Canada replied

I stared confused. "How so?"

"You're finally speaking English the normal way instead of the American way!" He jokingly teased. I literally wanted to punch him. Instead I just stared at him from under my sunglasses with my arms crossed.

"Aha ha, sorry..." he nervously apologized. I guess he could tell I was mad. I playfully punched him in the arm. "It's fine! I just hate being compared to that old hag..."

We walked to a corner to talk about things that have happened over the 2 years we haven't seen each other.

Out of nowhere I felt something near my leg, I looked down to check and panicked when I saw a GIANT SNAKE wrapped around my leg. Canada stared at the snake dead in the eyes as if it was going to kill him.

"Sorry about that mate!"

"Aussie! Keep your goddamn animals together!"

I turned my head and saw Australia and New Zealand running towards me and Canada.

"AUSTRALIA! GET YOUR SNAKE OFF MY LEG!" I was basically screaming, I mean- who wouldn't scream if there was a goddamn SNAKE ON YOUR FRICKIN LEG?!

"JUST CALM DOWN!" Australia yelled back.

Almost every country in the room was staring at us, I was ok with it until I felt a sudden chill from a specific gaze.

Russia.

I absolutely hated that guy with my guts, even if it doesn't really seem like it. He's always so rude and drinks vodka all the time. Not only that, but he is quite literally my enemy, the Cold War left us on bad terms. Although I TRY to be nice to him, he always ends up getting on all of my nerves, it's annoying. (Watch Russia think the exact opposite of him)

I heard footsteps behind me and turned my head to see a Russian tree walking towards me. Great, just great. I tried to hide my obvious misery, which wasn't going well at all, I kept frowning and I had an irritated look on my face. I turned my head back towards Canada while Aussie was trying to lure the snake in with... is that a dead rat?!

I slightly jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck no, please god I swear if its...

"Do you need help?(haha no Russian accent here)" I stared at him and blinked a few times before responding.

"U-Uhhhh... I- uhh... y-yes?"

Goddamnit America! Couldn't you have thought of a better response?! Now your enemy is trying to help you get a snake off your leg!

I mentally slapped myself and contemplated just grabbing the snake and yeeting it at another country, but that would be dangerous based off of: 1. The snake species and 2. Who I throw it at.

"WHAT THE-" I yelped as Russia yanked the snake off my leg

"WAIT! MY SNAKE!" Australia grabbed the snake before Russia almost threw it at UN who just walked into the room.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" UN asked calmly (If you get it then ilysm, have a butterbeer).

Every country turned to look at UN who walked into the room with EU and NATO behind him.

"Oh shit..." was the only thing I managed to whisper as multiple countries started lining up in a single file.

I heard New Zealand scoff next to me. "Pfft, what are we, kindergartners?" he whispered into my ear. I quietly chuckled and stood behind Canada as UN led us to the meeting room, doing a head count as we entered the room. EU told us to stand on the sides and wait for UN to finish counting the countries so NATO could hand out the papers for our seating chart and assigned rooms.

Once that was sorted out we were put in alphabetical order. For some reason they put me in the A section even though my name starts with a U... you know? United States of America? Whatever, they're probably trying to shorten my name to make it easier for them to identify me. Funny enough, I was placed last in the A section.

After waiting for about 2 minutes I received my paper. I immediately went to check which room I'm. 427... seat 12.

I stared down at the paper and leaned against the wall. You know they could have at least given us chairs to sit down in, standing here for about 16 minutes wouldn't be fun.

"Ah, I forgot to mention something! There will be 3 people in each room, so there will be 65 rooms." UN announced.

Are you ducking serious.

What if I have to share a room with North Korea?! Or China??? OR RUSSIA?!!? But maybe I can share a room with Japan... or Canada! Ok just chill.

16 minutes laterrrrr

They finally finished handing out the papers. Literally I think I grew grey hair from waiting here all day.

"You all are dismissed to do whatever you like, please don't cause any trouble." UN shouted across the room. Actually, I never realized how big this room actually is. Enough to fit 195 countries AND... 1...2... 3 organizations!

I decided to head to my room, I'm just too tired for this shit and I am starving, hopefully my roommates don't mind hearing children giggling at night and constant arguments...

I ran towards the elevator and pushed the button. The door opened almost immediately, as if it was waiting for me.

This shi getting too long so imma end it here. ⭐️
