Two Lovers

Heyyy Guys!!!

Ok, well i had to write a short stroy for literature class and I thought I'd post it up here and see what sort of responses I get!

Hope you like it! It was done in a very very tight sceduele, so don't mind the grammer mistakes.

“♪ I’d catch a grenade for ya, throw my hand on a blade for ya, I’d jump in front of a train for ya, u know I'd do anything for ya ♪”

I hear my ringtone ringing from under my pillow; I get enough urge to pick my head up and slide my hand under my pillow and take my phone out.

“Ugh... hello?”  My voice came out huskily, but I didn’t care.

“Morning beautiful, how are you this lovely day?” A smile crept up on my lips as the word beautiful escaped his lips so softly and I knew they were only meant for me. 

“Mmmm, I’m good, just woke up, how are you? 

“I’m great! I was wondering if you would like to hang out with me after work, we can get dinner together and I have a surprise for you.”

“Really? Now I’m wide awake, come pick me up around 5, okay?”

“Haha, of course and not a second late love you, catch you later”. 

“Bye”

I get up from my bed and fix my covers and head for the bathroom.  I quickly change my clothes and head for work.  I work in a bank as an accounting consultant, help customers with their financial problems and needs. Sometimes the customers are really nice, but sometimes they can get very pushy. Like today, this old lady was being very fussy about her savings account.

The day went by so slowly and at some points I got very tired and frustrated.  I was so glad my work was coming to an end. I filed my sheets away in to their proper cabinets, and started to dig for my car keys in my purse. I was rumbling through my bag when I got a text from Jaden that said: “I’m outsideJ”. I quickly replied to his message: “be out in 2 seconds”.

I found my car keys and grabbed my jacket and headed straight for the door. I stepped out of the door, and I saw him waiting by his car, he noticed me come up , waved and smiled.  I hugged him and then got in the car.

“Where are we going? I’m very excited and tired!”

“Haha, don’t worry, it’s exciting and relaxing, we’re just going out to eat”.

“Good!”        

The whole ride there, Jaden asked me about how my work was and I asked him about his. He told me he wanted to get a haircut. I was about to agree, when he put the brakes on and turned the ignition off.

“We’re here” He got out of the car and quickly came to my side and opened my door for me. 

Jaden had always been the sweet romantic kind, he never let things get awkward between us, and he was really straightforward with problems, which is what I loved about him.

I stepped out and reached for his hand.  We went inside and got ourselves a table. This restaurant looked very elegant, I started feel a little under dressed. Maybe I should’ve gone home and changed before coming here. Jaden ordered his food and asked me to do the same. I ordered a simple chicken salad and with wings and sauce, something light.  

When my food arrived, we started to eat, making small conversation, and then a waiter brought over two champagne glasses. We sipped and I felt my something caught in my throat and I coughed it out to see a diamond ring in my hand. I gazed at it totally shocked and trying to embrace the idea behind it. Tears were starting to roll down my eyes and I looked up to see Jayden down on his knees.
