Marc lay in bed, staring at his phone screen. The blue light illuminated his face, casting shadows across his features. He couldn't believe that Ricky, the man he had been crushing on for months, had still not responded to his text. It had been hours, and Marc was starting to feel anxious. He couldn't help but wonder if Ricky was just not interested in him.
Ricky and Marc would often text each other throughout the day, sharing funny memes, talking about their favorite TV shows, and venting about their problems. However, there was something that always bothered Marc. Ricky never responded to his texts right away. Sometimes, it would take hours or even days for Ricky to reply.
Marc didn't want to be clingy, so he tried not to let it bother him. However, as time went on, it became harder and harder to ignore. He wondered if Ricky was upset with him or if he was just too busy. He started to feel like he was always the one initiating the conversation and that Ricky didn't care about him as much as he cared about Ricky.
Just then, he heard a knock at the door. Marc's heart skipped a beat. He got up, walked to the door, and opened it. There was Ricky, standing in front of him, looking apologetic.
Despite their close friendship, Ricky and Marc both had a secret. They were both secretly in love with each other. They had never told anyone, not even each other, but their feelings were undeniable.
Marc decided to call out Ricky. He asked him why he never responded to his texts right away. Ricky was surprised by the question and didn't know how to respond. He told Marc that he was sorry and that he didn't mean to make him feel ignored. He explained that he was just busy with work and that he didn't always have his phone with him.
Marc didn't believe him. He felt like Ricky was lying to him and that he didn't care about their friendship. He started to get angry and defensive. He accused Ricky of being a bad friend and of not valuing their relationship.
Ricky was hurt by Marc's accusations. He felt like Marc was being unfair and that he didn't understand how hard he was working. He tried to explain himself again, but Marc wouldn't listen.
Their argument continued for hours. They both said things that they didn't mean and hurt each other's feelings. They ended up hanging up on each other, both feeling hurt and confused.
Days went by, and Ricky and Marc didn't talk. They both missed each other, but they were too stubborn to reach out. They both wondered if they had ruined their friendship for good.
However, after a few days, Ricky couldn't take it anymore. He missed Marc too much. He decided to call him and tell hum to come over. He told Marc that he was sorry for not responding and invalidating his gorgeous sensitive feelings.
"Hey man, you know what...I apologize for everything." says Ricky.
Marc felt a wave of relief wash over him. He was glad that Ricky had apologized. As they sat down on the couch, Marc couldn't help but notice how Ricky's eyes kept darting around the room. He seemed nervous, almost fidgety.
"Is everything okay?" Marc asked, concerned. He wasn't aware if Ricky was about to green out on him or if he was being his usual self.
Ricky took a deep breath, then looked straight into Marc's eyes. "I need to tell you something," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Marc's heart started to race. He could feel his palms getting sweaty. He had been waiting for this moment for so long, and now it was finally happening.
"I've been crushing on you for a long time, Marc," Ricky said, his eyes never leaving Marc's.
Marc's breath caught in his throat. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had been crushing on Ricky for months, too, but he had never had the courage to say anything.
"I feel the same way, Ricky," Marc said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Without another word, they leaned in and kissed each other. The kiss was electric, sending shivers down Marc's spine. He could feel Ricky's hands on his back, pulling him closer. Marc wrapped his arms around Ricky's neck, deepening the kiss.
As they broke apart, Marc looked into Ricky's eyes. He could see the desire burning there, and he knew that he wanted him more than anything.
"Stay with me tonight," Marc said, his voice husky with desire.
Ricky nodded, and they made their way to the bedroom. As they undressed each other, Marc couldn't help but feel like he was living in a dream. He had never felt this way before, and he knew that this night was gonna be lit. The last thing he said before they entered the bedroom was "So are you like a top or a bottom..or are you like a switch?"
