If you grow up... Will the feeling of that day fade?

"People are so contradictory."

A moment of interrupted conversation was triggered by a boy in school uniform sitting next to him in shorts. Jack turned to look at his best friend, who was staring aimlessly at the river. Those eyes were full of sadness because of the troubles that affected them. And he was so worried because he didn't know if sitting here would cure something for his friend or not?

"Yesterday, I was thinking otherwise. But after only one day, I changed my mind."

"People grow every day. When I met you, I didn't even think I would be sitting here." After he finished speaking, Ten was silent before the first smile of the day filled the other's face. Which makes people watch it all day and feel a little more cheerful.

"That's right, who would have known that a brainless kid like me would go to the same school as you?"

"Why?"

"Well, because you pushed and hit my skull, are you satisfied?"

"Very satisfied"

Jack only smiled when he was retaliated against by shrugging his head, which was so bad that it was called a skinhead. The sky was dark, and Ten's heart was the same color as him. Both of them were just high school students who wanted to enjoy life. Not acknowledging the unsolvable problems that cause headaches for anyone because just studying is stressful enough.

But where can a person choose to enjoy only pleasure? Life is hard. If he's breathing, that means he and this guy still need to move on and face some small problems, some big, depending on the way it is presented.

Today is Ten's day to learn and understand that his parents no longer want to be part of each other's lives.

"What did I ask, Jack?"

The owner of the name did not show an excited expression. The young skinhead just looked at his best friend who kept his head down in distress. Ten always said that "My story is stupid," and he replied to emphasize the friendship that "No matter how stupid you are, I want to hear it anyway."

The story of the breakup of his parents for some people may not be a surprise but for Ten that he was not close to his parents and always understood that they loved each other. Until you know the truth that each party only shows it to their children because there is actually a matter of benefit involved.

Ten licked his lips at some idea he couldn't keep alone. Jack put his hand on his friend's shoulder, squeezed it slightly, and nodded before meeting his eyes.

"Will you have a boyfriend?"

A little beyond expectations, Jack thought it might be a question. "If your parents are like this, what are you going to do?" Something like that

"I asked why my parents talked about whether there will be new people after the breakup or something like that?"

"And what the hell does that have to do with me having a girlfriend or boyfriend?"

"I don't know. I have a feeling that people who love each other will have something attached to them. Well, they don't love each other very much, but there must be some kind of relationship, right? And I feel that even if separated, there would be someone who wouldn't be okay if the other party had a new person. One of those people is my mom."

"Ah-ha?"

"Right now, I only have you. So, I can't help but think that if one day you become addicted to your girlfriend until you disappear, what will I do?" The other party's eyes were full of nervousness. Family problems make Ten worry that the people around him will disappear one by one.
