She was standing in the middle of a clearing in the forest, beautiful as ever. She looked so joyful and peaceful as she gracefully played with the butterflies. The wind made her hair flow flawlessly behind her. I can hear her angelic voice, laughing in delight. I couldn't help but smile at her, her radiance and her happiness will never fail to reach out to anybody's soul.

I inhaled a deep breath and let it out anxiously as I felt the small box that's been in my pocket all day before I made my way towards her.

I'm going to propose to her and marry her. I love her with every ounce of my being and she is the only elleth I could ever imagine spending a future with.

My heart is beating faster as I come closer to her. I can't ruin this.

She doesn't seem to notice this though because her eyes were closed while her head was tilted to the sky. She was smiling so sweetly in perfect ease with her surroundings. She looks so lovely and I can't feel luckier.

But when I was about four steps away from her, a black orc arrow shot out of nowhere and embedded itself on her chest, right at her heart. I tried to go to her but I cannot move, my feet were firmly stuck on the ground. I cannot even speak or reach out to her. She looked down in horror as she saw the arrow protruding from her heart, falling to her knees. She found my eyes and stared at them pleadingly while tears started to fall. All I could do was watch helplessly and cry as two more arrows struck her in the chest and the abdomen. I felt so tired from trying to run but I haven't moved even a bit.

"Legolas, my love, help me please," she cried in a weak and pleading tone before falling to the ground.

Only then did my feet start to move. I ran to her as and wrapped her in my arms. I put my arm on her back and lifted her up to me. Her head was on my chest. She was barely alive and I feel her breathing get fainter and weaker, but her eyes were still open. Her face was stained with tears and there was blood on the corners of her mouth. I started to get up so I can find a healer at home, but she clutched my arm and shook her head.

"Its too..too..la..late.." She struggled while grasping my arm.

"No I can save you," I cried to her, but I know myself that she wouldn't make it.

"Y..you..le..left..me..the..there..to..to..di..die," she said, one last tear falling from her eye, before her breathing stopped and her body go limp.

"Sithiel NO! Don't lea..leave me! Ple..please,"Tears are now flowing violently from my eyes and I think I would die on the spot from heartbreak. I still clutched her body tight to my chest, getting blood on my hands. But I do not care. This is all my fault. I brought her here and now I let her die.

Her once green, sparkling orbs are now lifeless. Her once red, vibrant lips are now pale and violet. I felt her soul no more in her body. She is gone from me forever and I will never be able to forgive myself.
