Chapter 18

When Roxy and Foxy went through the entrance door at the darkened glass front they were in Chica's gym.

"Welcome to Mazercise! Work off the calories while you eat. Sign up for a membership today! Super cool perks include discounts on pizza, nachos, fries, and cookies. Now that's the smell of fitness." Chica's voice was heard over the intercom.

The red fox looked around and twitched his left ear. "So even though Mazercise is a gym, does it offer discounts on unhealthy foods like pizza and fries? That's pretty weird." he said in a low voice to Roxy who was standing right next to him.

Roxy sighed softly. "Chica is a fast food animatronic. She eats every day and night. I think this chicken is pretty gluttonous that's why her beak is so fat." she said back to Foxy in a low voice. "Mazercise is designed to encourage kids to exercise while still cramming unhealthy foods."

Roxanne flattened her ears.

Foxy nodded. "Chica loves food." he said then.

The reception desk was on the right side of the entrance door. To the left side of the entrance door was a seating area with comfortable sofas and plenty of pillows. Next to the seating area there was a small food counter with a drinks machine. Straight ahead was the large fitness area with yoga mats, dumbbells and other exercise equipment.

Behind the large fitness area was a door that led to a corridor. On the left side of the door around the corner was a small room with a control panel on the wall that could be used to change the maze at will. Then there was another door leading into a square room bounded by partitions. That was the maze. Various fast food motifs were depicted on the carpet, walls and partitions.

Chica stood at the small food counter and got a lemonade from the drinks machine. When she saw the red fox and the gray wolf, she smiled and walked over to them. The hole that had been in Chica's head was repaired.

"Hello." said the white chicken.

"Hello." Foxy said back. "How are you Chica? I see Officer Stephanie did a pretty good job of fixing the hole in your head."

Chica nodded. "I'm fine. I'm glad Officer Stephanie was so good at fixing the hole in my head. Now I'm really hungry for pizza." said the chicken took a piece of pizza, devoured it quickly and finished the lemonade.

"From now on, watch out for the Wet Floor Bots when they're standing somewhere so you don't slip on the wet floor again." said Roxy crossing her arms.

"Yes Roxy. I watch out for the Wet Floor Bots now." said the white chicken, nodding. "Does Mangle like Kids Cove? Where is Mangle anyway?" the chicken then asked while getting more lemonade from the drinks machine.

Foxy nodded. "Yes Mangle like Kids Cove and is looking forward to doing her first shift there with me." he answered. "Monty took Mangle to his golf course because she wants him to teach her how to play golf. They both seem to like each other a lot."

Chica smiled. "That's nice."

Roxy rolled her eyes.

"Um can we talk? We need to tell you how we were attacked by those weird bots earlier." Foxy said to the chicken. He pointed his hook towards the seating area.

"What?! W..what bots?" Chica was shocked.

"Nightmarionne Bots." said the gray wolf. "Usually those ugly rusted things are only found in the basement."

Chica's eyes started to glitter with fear then she nodded slightly and walked to the seating area with the fox and the wolf. The three animatronics sat down on one of the comfortable sofas.

Foxy and Roxy told the white chicken how they had fought those Nightmarionne Bots.

"We defeated those ugly bots. I don't think any more of those things will dare to attack us." Roxy said and then snuggled into the red fox's shoulder. "It was so brave of you to destroy one of the bots with your pirate hook. You were awesome my little sweet fox."

Foxy immediately felt himself hot with embarrassment and his animatronic heart began to pound wildly. He gently pressed his nose against Roxy's nose for a moment. "You were brave too. As brave as a pirate." he then said smiling.

Roxy kissed Foxy.

Chica's eyes still glittered with fear. "Oh I would be too scared to fight those bots. I need more pizza. I...I have to protect the pizza from the bots! My pizza!" she get up from the sofa, cackled, rushed to the small food counter and grabbed eight pizza boxes. "I have to protect pizza!" then she ran through the door that led to the corridor.

"What's the matter with Chica?" asked Foxy.

"Chica, the Nightmarionne Bots don't want your pizza so calm down!" yelled Roxy loudly, ears flattened because the white chicken could still be heard cackling.

"I think we should go see Freddy at his Fazer Blast Arena." said the red fox to the gray wolf. Roxanne nodded. The two animatronics got up from the sofa.

Roxy and Foxy left the gym holding hands.

As Roxy and Foxy made their way to the Fazer Blast arena, they suddenly stopped, wide-eyed. Freddy was attacked by a Nightmarionne bot and was pretty broken.

"Freddy! Hold on, we'll help you." Foxy called to the bear. The red fox and the gray wolf came running. Roxy growled and pulled the bot away from Freddy. Foxy hooked his hook into the bot's head to destroy it. The Nightmarionne Bot collapsed to the ground and twitched a few more times.

Freddy lay motionless on the floor and his eyes were closed. He was pretty broken and dirty and you could see a bit of his endoskeleton. Roxy bent over the bear. "Freddy? Are you okay? Please open your eyes." she said in a worried voice but the bear didn't react.

Foxy dropped his ears. "Freddy's broken pretty badly. We need to take him to Parts and Service so Officer Stephanie can fix him." said the red fox. Roxy nodded.

The fox and the wolf wanted to carefully pick up the bear. Roxy backed away startled when a scary white rabbit suddenly appeared in front them. The rabbit wore a dark blue bow around its neck, had large glowing red eyes and a creepy smile on its face.

"Foxy who is that?" Roxanne asked, ears flattened anxiously, clutching to Foxy's arm. The red fox narrowed his eyes at the rabbit and pulled Roxy protectely in his arms.

"I'm Vanny." said the white rabbit, giggling.
