His peircing red eyes bore into mine, the feeling of a unwavering stare rocking my body.
My icy white eyes met his, a sign of defiance. He rose a eyebrow but never stopped staring. This was a little ritual we would do when I'm in trouble, he would stare at me until I explained myself, most of the time I would break down. This time I planned on standing my ground, I had a valid reason to be outside, and to his knowledge I wasn't seen by anyone.
I narrowed my eyes at him and put my elbows on the table, linking my fingers and tapping my foot. He hated when I did that.
I swear I could see his eye twitch in annoyance.
I huffed and looked away crossing my arms. "Fine," I grumbled unhappy that I hadn't won his game.
"Explain." he said simply leaning back in his chair, the wood creaking with the pressure.
"You never let me outside to explore, and I was super bored." I said sighing and meeting his eyes again. He looked, angry to put it lightly, I cringed and continued, "I had read all my books, and drawn everything I could possible imagine. All I wanted to do was be in the woods." I said ending my sentence more quite than I had started. "I mean, can you blame me? It's in my blood." I said almost instantly feeling guilty for bringing up my mothers blood.
He sighed deeply rubbing his hands across his face, "Your mother was a full wood elf and could restrain herself more than you." he said flatly. His eyes clouded over and I knew he was holding back voices. What I had said was a low blow. "Your grounded, for a week." he said clasping his hands over the table and squaring his shoulders.
My jaw dropped, I hadn't been grounded in the longest time. "But Dad!" I said standing up.
"Enough! I am done with this conversation!" he yelled joining my standing party and placing his hands heavily on the table.
I grumbled and crossed my arms, tilting my head up. My tail was swaying sharply from side to side a dead giveaway that I was incredibly frustrated. "Well I'm not!" I said, not being able to think of anything good to say.
He rolled his eyes and leaned back, walking away. I narrowed my eyes at him and sat back down roughly. "Fine, just walk away." I said quietly.

I hummed happily and swayed my feet, I was currently sitting outside on the railing of my porch. My dad finally allowed me to go outside for a little bit. I think if I was in that house for a second longer I was going to combust.
The wind blew lightly, picking up my pink hair and tossing it in a dance no one could understand.
The pink and orange hues of the sunset where beautiful, if reminded me of the paintings my mother would do. She loved sunsets. I sighed in content, enjoying the small sliver of heaven I could partake in.
I adjusted my mask and jumped of the railing, gracfully sticking the landing. I mentally congratulated myself and strolled over to the stalls.
My dads horse Carl nickered and bounced his head in greeting. I smiled widely flashing my sharp canines. I hummed and made it to the end of the horse pen and picked up tack to go for a ride. The big saddle weighed me down tremendously as I slowly shuffled my way back to the brownish tan horse. I placed all the appropriate riding gear onto Carl and hoisted myself up of off the ground. Swinging my leg around I made myself comfortable.
I clicked my tongue and grabbed hold of the reins. We slowly started out in a trot before picking up speed and making a couple laps around the small house. The wind tousled my hair and I grinned widely, unable to help myself. The pure joy and adrenaline riding a horse gifted you was wonderful.

I sighed and brushed through Carls coat, picking out pieces of dirt and leaves our ride had kicked up. Combing through Carls beautiful hair I decided on braiding it.
I hummed and sectioned off little pieces beginning the intricate work of weaving and overlapping his course hair. Once I had finished a beautiful small braid adorned his hair, I repeated this process until I had about 5 or so braids decorating his hair.
I giggled and kissed his muzzle before leading him back to his stall and hand feeding him some hay.
Walking back to the house after my adventure for the day was almost sad, I loved being outside in the nature. I guess that was the wood elf in me.
I hesitated at the door, my hand right above the metal knob. Something was wrong. The hair on my neck stood up and the back of my head tingled. Someone was watching me.
I quickly turned around and wildly searched the trees around me. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Just the normal bare trees and open fields of snow.
I grumbled and opened the door, quickly closing it once I was inside. I ran my hands up my arms quicky trying to rid the goosebumps protruding from my skin. I would just play it off as me being cold but I didn't get cold, well unless it was extremely freezing outside.
I am from the nether, well technically I am not from the nether. My dad is, but I am related to him and his weird ability to stay warm in most temperatures was passed down to me.
"How was your day?"
I yelped in surprise and turned around quickly, only to be met with my dad sitting on the couch in front of the fire.
"Dangit dad! You scared me!" I said loudly crossing my arms at him. He rolled his eyes and went back to reading mumbling something about how a fly could scare me.
I huffed and stalked back over to my room, opening the door and closing it just a tad bit to loud.
"Hey! You better not be slamming doors in my house!"
"Sorry!" I yelled back, I didn't mean to close it that hard. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. Now that I was inside I didn't know what I was going to do.
"So, I am curious how was your day?"
