He always loves Samira because she's nice, helps him clean the penthouse when she wants, and he adopted her. Bertram treats her like she's his daughter because outside of her he doesn't have any other family members there for him. Who understands him the way that Samira does. He loves her and will do anything for her if she's in trouble and or just wants a hug, when she wouldn't hug anyone else.

What would break her: if something happens to the Ross family because she loves and cares about them and feels welcome by their weird presence and also losing those that she cares about.

Worst thing: how her mother tries to get her to come back to her family that she doesn't want to see because they weren't there for her growing up, she always had to fend for herself. Which is why she felt a shelter in the Ross family.
