A rare, blushing Mai

"Well hello, sweetheart~"

Mai approached Lili, and wrapped her arms around her waist. Lili had just finished purchasing two vending machine drinks, and was caught off guard by Mai's sudden appearance. Lili cracked a smile after Mai's greeting, turned her head towards her, and kissed her cheek. "Hey Mai!"

Mai's embrace fell loose, and she went silent. "I got us some drinks," Lili claimed as she proceeded to hold one up to Mai's field of vision. "I figured I'd get you something sweet, since you did amazing during practice today." Mai was still silent, but she acknowledged Lili's treat with her eyes.

"We should head back to class," Lili went on. She tucked her own drink into her purple tracking suit jacket's left pocket. Mai suddenly buried her face into the crook of Lili's neck, making Lili pause. "Mai?" she whispered to her. She looked at where her head was resting, and could only see her hair.

"Is something wrong?" she asked her. Mai shook her head, still hiding her face in Lili's neck. Lili was a little relieved, and figured she just wanted attention. It was a little rare to see Mai get needy; Lili wondered if that now they're dating, Mai'd yearn for her affection. It'd make sense, considering the kind of background she came from.

Lili switched Mai's drink into her left hand, and slowly ran her right hand through Mai's hair. She gazed at her girlfriend with an affectionate stare, feeling every soft piece of hair in her hand. Mai began to dig her face deeper into the crook of Lili's neck, resulting in Lili giggling.

"Heh.. what's up with you today?" Lili asked. Mai mumbled a 'shut up,' making Lili giggle even more from the vibrations of her voice. "Mai, that tickles, you know," Lili told her. Then, Lili noticed a slight change of color on Mai's cheeks, the more Mai turned her head into the crook of her neck. Her eyes lit up; she softly smiled, and she gently kissed Mai's temple.

That only resulted in Mai turning her head again. Lili chuckled. "No but seriously, let's head back to class-"

Mai tightened her embrace around Lili's waist. Lili paused again, and snapped back to Mai. Mai finally looked up at her. "You're such a goody two shoes, y'know that?" she teased her. Lili's cheeks took their turn to burn up. Lili couldn't help but bashfully chuckle and smile at Mai's remark. "I can't help wanting to be such a good girl," Lili throws back. Mai chuckled. "You already are~"
