I sprung up from my bed with a bad fever and a bad nightmare.
I was panting for air as the cold oxygen filled my hot lungs.
I sat there for a while until there was a light knock at my door and I couldn't open my mouth or move so I made no attempt to open it. Although I desperately needed someone, anyone, to comfort me.
"I'm coming in" Blades husky, sleepy voice was heard softly behind the door.
He opened the door and was met with a not so pretty sight. He rushed to my side and side hugged me.
"What happened this time?"
I've had these bad fever dreams for a long time so this wasn't unusual, still scary though.
"I... I uh-" I then pathetically started sobbing and crying all over.
Blade just looked at me with his cold eyes but then softened and fully hugged me.
As he hugged me the sent of his vanilla shampoo, slight redwood cologne, and some of my personal jasmine perfume. The sent welcomed me with open arms as I sank into the hug more and more clinging onto his shirt tightly.
After around 15 minutes I started calming down and fell asleep in his arms.
He didn't really know what to do so as any wise person would do he just leaned back onto my bed frame and adjusted a pillow under his back and neck and then also fell asleep while still holding me close.
I woke up to a familiar smell and opened my eyes only to find myself in Blades arms while he slept peacefully. I started freaking out but made no effort to move or show a sign of discomfort as we just lay there. Eventually he woke up and was very calm and collected as always.
"How'd you sleep Y/N?"
"Uh... pretty well, sorry for falling asleep on you... again." I started into the ground in shame as i said this.
A simple "Mhm" was all I got before he got up and quickly scurried away, out of my room.
When he left my room his face burned up a bright red but of course I didnt know that because my cheeks were as hot as a nice summer day and as pink as a ripe raspberry as I sunk onto my bed.
Should I continue this? Idk, we'll see. I hope you enjoyed it though, love ya <3
