Citywide Race

Lash's pov
Soon after thinking over what i'm going to teach, i head out into the city with my speedster duo.
"So what is it you wanted to teach us?"
"Everything i know. Let's start by seeing what you guys already know, then i'll show you some tricks and how to do them."
"And how are we gonna do that?" Deku says, in hero costume, as well as Ingenium.
"How would you guys feel about a race? We'll stick to the bike lanes."
"It does sound interesting. And lawful since we'll be using bike lanes." Ingenium says and i chuckle.
"Let's get moving."
I get down into a sprinting position and i see Deku copy my stance, green lightning that had a strange energy, peeling off him. One for All. I smirk and i start small, a simple 15-25 mile speed. It hurt to go so slow, but i need to start slow to see how quick these two can even move.
They start moving past me and i accelerate to 50 MPH, keeping just ahead of them.
"A good start, 48 MPH so far, so close to a speed of a car on the freeway."
Deku seems to be struggling to contain himself. This was pushing his control. He could be a really good racing partner,but it could kill him in the process. I decide for a change and switch, Ingenium was keeping up step for step, so i change it up by dashing across the street, and up the wall, holding a steady 75, they'd have to go way faster because of thier body physics.
I stop on the roof, only to see Deku grab Ingenium's arm and i see the lightning turn to a pure blur, launching up the wall, and landing with me, Ingenium panting and his engines smoking and Deku wincing in pain.
I walk over and i grab Deku's leg and Ingenium's leg.
"Chaos Heal" i say simply, the excess energy in my system siphoning into them and i could tell that Deku had bruised his legs doing that, and Ingenium's Engines had overheated, but my power quickly helped them cool and heal.
"How are you healing my Engines?"
"Just adding charge to the cooler and it does the rest."
"Charge?" Deku asks.
"Yeah, this ability of mine is something i learned after i've beaten myself up a few times too many. Seems like Deku here's on that list as well, smart moves kid, you luckily advoided fratcturing them."
I pull my hands away and the healing stops.
"That was still cool, and i feel much better, i bet the stronger i get, the easier that'll be."
I nod," it just takes practice, i've been able to do the running up walls since i was 5. There's a few other tricks i wanna show you, but i think Deku might be able to do this one if he focuses right."
"Which is?"
"Magnetism, one fun thing about our lightning, it's pure positive or negative energy, so we can do this-" I see a lone extra screw and i open my hand, energy crackling around it as the screw lifts and it lands in my hand.
"Now try to pull it off." Deku comes over and tugs, it not budging.
"Let me try Deku." Ingenium grabs and pulls, it still staying stuck to my hand.
"That's certainly stuck, but how would this be useful?"
I let the screw go."you can only pull stuff that's lighter then you, but for this instance, you can use it to stick to anything metal. For superspeed perks, you only need a small bit of magnetism coming from your shoes."
I start moving again, jumping from roof to roof, Deku and Ingenium following, before i see Deku starting to mimic my movements, running sideways on a wall, using magnetism to pull himself to the wall.
I slide up next to him,"amazing job, you're very quick in the mind."
"Really?" He pants, and i nod.
Ingenium,however, seems to be struggling. I slow down and i say," line yourself up, you've got the basics. But your so tense that any of these tricks would rip your muscles up!"
I see Deku stop and i catch up with Ingenium right behind. Stepping up i say,"ok, first back to UA, and we'll try training in a more easier enviroment, see if we can loosen up Ingenium here. Deku you're doing good so far, but you need to get stronger before you can keep up step by step, can't rush progress, but i feel like today was a good start."
We head back to UA. Going at a soft pace when we arrive back, and the duo leave to go change.
Out comes Aizawa, and he sits down next to me.
"So, what do you think of those two?"
"They have more experience then i originally thought. That Midorya boy was faster in analyzing me then i thought. He was even able to figure out the magnetism in a moment."
"About what i expected. He hurt himself?"
"Bruised his leg bones, but Ingenium overheated his engines too, so it was hilariously mutual" he smirks lightly," they were both determined to keep up, but usually assume it's Midorya's plan."
"He's a natural leader."
"Indeed he is, he doesn't fully realize it himself."
"Ingenium's very tight, is there a reason why?"
"He's an uptight indivigual, from a high up family of heros, his older brother, the first Ingenium, was forcibly retired by a villain named Stain, someone Todoroki, Midorya and Iida all managed to defeat together, but the news couldn't know that truth."
I sigh," that's a smidge unfair to the kids, but for what reasons?"
"Heros who aren't registered aren't allowed to hurt villains."
"No wonder why the streets feel like you guys are on the brink of war."
"Whaddya mean?"
"What i mean is during our race, i was feeling the air, and noticing how everyone looked at the kids like they were fresh meat. They know that the shadows are bigger with your number 1 out of buisness, villains are getting bolder, getting ready to bring thier plans to light."
"Because of that law?" I nod,"people want to help the heros, but you all don't let them, so they turn that elsewhere."
Aizawa sighs,"i'll bring it up with the teachers. Thank you for your input."
I nod and i head inside, my quills partially gold now, i need to figure out how to calm that issue down.
I sit on my bed and i turn on my communicator, and i go to the contacts page.
"Please reply guys."
