The next day DonDon came home in different clothes that he didn't have on when he left yesterday. I was asleep on the couch. I turned over which caused my back to face the back of the couch. I opened my eyes and seen DonDon looking at me while he was sitting on the couch. I sat up quickly " I'm sorry, I overslept I'll get up and cook ". His eyes followed me as I jumped up off of the couch walking to the kitchen. " Moni.... Come here please ". I stopped walking and slowly walked back into the living room. " Y- yes "? I stood there. " BESTIEEEEEEEEEE " I heard Semaje yelling while running towards me. I was about to run towards her when DonDon yanked my arm back and whispered in my ear. DonDon, Ricky, Brandon and Semaje all walked off to go smoke. Quan can't smoke because he's on probation. " I know what he be doing to you ". I heard Quan say as he came and sat next to me. I scooted over a little so there could be a gap between us. " What are you talking about "? I asked him looking confused and concerned. " He beat on you and talk to you crazy. I notice that shit every since i came over the last time". I just ignored him. It's the truth and there's no need to argue with him. " You're beautiful ". I smiled just a little not letting him notice. Me and Quan started talking and laughing until I heard DonDon and them come back. " What y'all over here laughing about ". He said making me jump a little and turn towards him. I ignored him. " Come on Moni I got some shit to do in the morning ". He grabbed me by my arm and we walked to the car. I already know what's coming for me. Just please don't let him kill me this time.
