As the medic on standby for every WWE show, every week of every month, it was my job to sit here and entertain myself a lot during matches.
99% of the time the wrestlers were healthy, fine and had no injuries. Sometimes I'd be called backstage, or if I notice someone who actually looked injured then I'd follow them out. But usually, the wrestlers were spot on and never injured.
As for Wrestlemania this year, there has been some brutal matches so far, but none id been needed for.
I was sitting beside Samantha, a friend of mine and the ring announcer. We were waiting for Dominick Mysterious to go against his Father, a match that had been built up really well so I was actually looking forward to watching.
WWE wasn't my favourite thing in the world. It was helping the injured, of course. I just happened to find myself employed by the WWE last year when I was broke and desperately needed money.
I watch the matches of course, in case I miss someone getting a tweaked ankle or something. But often times, there were multiple I trusted to not hurt themselves. I found myself watching but not taking it in because I trusted them. Their experience and their judgment.
Rey Mysterio was one of them. His son, though, I hadn't watched enough so I had to keep a closer eye on him.
As Rey and Dom came in, I couldn't stop staring down Dominiks outfit. Well... his body. Id always tattoos attractive. He had this punk, bad guy look to him that I was a sucker for. His hair wasn't my favourite thing, but he rocked it. For the biggest heel in wrestling today, he was doing incredible.
There wasn't many wrestlers I knew personally. A few of the girls I've chatted to briefly backstage. Only very quickly to those who I've needed to help, so I didn't know many. No one seemed to reach out to get to know me apart from Samantha.
We both watched as Dom came face to face with his Father Rey. My eyes strayed down his frame, to his perky backside and I thought i must be delusional finding him attractive.
Hell, I was delusional.
He turned around and I read the words "Mami." On the back of his pants.
God, don't even make me go there right now.
Intently watching through the match, the two wrestlers were amazing. Rey of course is always great. Dom did incredible for his first big event. The crowd was extremely into it.
