┌─── AUTHOR NOTE ───┐
Over a year after my original version was posted I finished the first chapter for the revamped version!! Initially, I started rewriting this chapter on July 31st, 2022, so it's been a while lol. Instead of switching between four characters like before, I'm going to be focusing on one each chapter. I like this fic idea because I decided that each chapter is going to be each persons perspective about the whole thing, and I think it's going to end up very interesting! While scenes may be the same in different chapters, it will hopefully reveal more information of what's going on. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this chapter! I feel I have grown a lot in that year, especially with how many words written.

CW: CHARACTER DEATH, CURSING
Today is September 19th, and today I'm getting on a bus to spend the next month or two at a summer camp with random high schoolers. I didn't really want to go, but my mom insisted on signing me up to 'support the school' or whatever. I guess high schools are holding an event to celebrate the reopening of this camp called Kozakura after it had been closed for 19 years, which I doubt any of us on this bus were born until at least the year after. Speaking of the other people, I'm pretty sure I recognize a few, like this kid named Shirabu who's in my elective. There's also this kid named Goshiki that I've seen around, and Ushijima who I've had a few run-ins with in the past. Rather than sitting next to them, I got picked to sit next to this kid, whose name I think is Hanamaki, as I overheard some kid say it. He has pinkish hair and weird bangs, which might be worse than Shirabu and Goshikis. I'm not sure what he's talking to the kid across from us about, but it seems like they're close. The bus is pretty loud, and it will be for the next half hour. Digging through my bag, I pulled out my walkman and put it on, listening to a cassette mix my dad helped me make, which had a wide variety of songs. I lean against the window, watching the trees pass by.
The camp entrance slides into view of the window shortly before the bus screeches to a halt. Most people start rushing out, some people getting knocked over in the process. I sit, waiting for the bus to mostly clear off before grabbing my bag and guitar case, heading off the bus. I plant my feet in the gravel as a waft of fresh pine hits me like a brick. It's not that bad, yet it's still extremely strong. I walk through the entrance, looking around. The camp is big, bigger than you'd expect. All of the buildings resemble cabins, and what I think are counselors are walking around. One of them is talking to this tall lanky kid, although they both fit the description. I feel like they're related in some way. Not just because they are both lanky, but because they look similar as well. I felt a tap on my shoulder, so I took off my walkman and turned around, seeing a kid with round eyebrows and a brown middle part standing next to me, smiling.
"Do you play Guitar?" He asked, gesturing towards my guitar case. I nod in response.
"That's so cool! My cousin plays it too but he doesn't tell anyone about it. I'm not sure why, I think it makes him cool." He says, grinning. I crack a smile and he reaches his hand out, I take it, shaking it. He seems cool, a bit energetic, but cool.
"I'm Komori Motoya, what's your name?" Komori asks.
"Semi Eita, nice to meet you." I responded. Hopefully making some friends won't make this suck.
As we continue hanging out, I end up getting introduced to Komoris cousin, Sakusa. As we talked, we were suddenly called to group together by the camp counselors.
