Rafe x Kiara x JJ The Devil Doesn't Bargain

Stay away from her!

Kiara's POV

I stood there yelling for JJ to come back. All my effort was pointless as he just continued down the drive. Why did I say that? Why do I always say the wrong thing? I sat down in defeat. I wiped the tears from my face and stood up and headed for the door. To my suprise it was unlocked. I walked in and soon realized Rafe was gone. I showered and put on some fresh clothes and headed to the park.

There was a movie in the park tonight and I was in charge of the setup. After helping with the screen, I headed over to start fixing up the snack bar. "Kie," I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around and saw Rafe. "How are you?" He asks me. I look at him in disbelief. "How do you think I am? YOU LEFT - " He motions for me to quiet down. I lower my voice. "You left me! I screamed in a whispered tone. "I'm sorry," he says. "Rafe, you promised me." I told him. He looked at me apologetically. "I'm sorry, Kie, I just get so angry whenever I think of you with that dirty pogue. "I wasn't with him." I tried explaining. He put his hand up, and I knew what that meant. I just sighed and went back to what I was doing. "So, are you going to sit with me?" He asked me, reaching for my hand. There was no point in trying to keep this going. I just gave in and put on my best fake smile. "Of course, where else would I sit?"

Later that night...

Rafe's POV

I sat there with Kie in my arms, watching the movie. I was enjoying this, but I needed to make sure that dirty pogue knows to stay away from my girl. I was watching JJ and Pope closely and noticed them sneak off behind the screen. I motioned to my buds. "Hey, babe, I'll be back. Gotta take a leak, " I lied. I headed behind the screen with my friends. Pope and JJ saw us. They knew what was happening. I walked up to JJ. "Stay away from my girl." I told him, taking 2 of my fingers and jabbing them into his shoulder. He makes a smirk and looks at me. "You don't own her." He tells me, pushing my shoulder back. "JJ, forget this fool. Let's go. " Pope tries to pull JJ back. Topper gets in his face about stealing his boat. Pope headbutts him. I grab JJ and start punching him. Kelce gets up behind him and puts him in a lock. I punched him in the side. "Stay away from her!" I screamed. Punching him in the face a couple of more times. I realize that Kie had jumped on Toppers back. I grab her and throw her to the ground. "Stay out of this, Kie!"  I warn. I turn my attention back to JJ, who is still being held by Kelce. I continue the assault. The next thing I know, I smell fire. I look up, and the movie screen is on fire. "Oh shit! Let's go!" Kelce and Topper yell. We run off  down the road.

JJ's POV

I cough and taste blood. My lip was busted. I go to Pope and Kie, and we run off the opposite direction. "That fucker!" I yelled towards the road. "Kie, what do you see in that maniac?!" I yelled at her. She just looks at me. "Are you alright? Both of you." "What do you think?" I snap back "I- "Didn't your boyfriend go the other way?" I continue to snap at her not really liking the words that were coming out of my mouth. She looks at me with a hurt expression which then quickly turns to anger. "Fine, take care of yourself" she snaps at me throwing her hands up in the air. I want to stop her, but I don't have the strength. "Aren't you going to stop her?" Pope asks me. I just shake my head and walkoff  in the opposite direction.

Kiara's POV

I can't believe him. I felt like everything was spinning out of control. I pulled out my phone and called Sarah. "Hey, can I stay over there tonight?" "Ya, are you ok?" Sarah asks me from the other line. "I'll explain when I get there. Is John B there?" That's the last thing I needed right now. "No, he isn't. " she tells me. I hang up and head over there.

I sat there and explained everything to Sarah. The fight between Rafe and I the fight between JJ and I and the fight between Rafe and JJ, all of it. After I was finished I sat there in silence for a few minutes. I hadn't told her anything before this because of Rafe being her brother. I didn't want her to have to pick sides. Suddenly, I felt a hand reach for me pulling me from my thoughts. "I'm glad you are ok. I knew my brother had a temper,  but to lay hands on you?" I tightened my grip on her hand. "Thank you, I am so sorry I haven't told you anything I just didn't know if I should cross that line." I explained. "All that matters.is that you are ok." She told me taking her other hand and grabbing my hand that she was already holding. "I don't know what to do!" I said tearing up. We talked the rest of the night and she comforted me. She promised she wouldn't mention anything to John B. I finally was able to close my eyes and fall asleep.

Rafe's POV

I woke up and went to reach for Kie. She wasn't there. I felt my blood boil. Where there hell was she. I left the door unlocked so I know she could get in. I flung out of bed and grabbed my shorts. I walked outside and didn't see her. I came back in and called her. It went straight to voicemail. I push to end the call when I notice that I have a message from Sarah.

Rafe,

How could you do that to Kie? I thought you loved her.

Sarah

I close my phone and clench it in my fist. I throw my phone on the couch and let out a scream. I collapse onto the couch and just wait for her to come home.
