Hubris: Volume 3

Chapter 54: Dark sense

The scene opens with Zeldris waking up, his eyes had darker bags under them and he felt exhausted. Zeldris looked at his group, he felt a little relieved to see them all in one piece. Zeldris sighed before walking forward, he looked back at Phoebe.

Zeldris: "Phoebe, can you get me across?"

Phoebe nodded before putting up her Lilly spell once again, Zeldris jumped across the lilies before landing in front of the castle. Zeldris knew what was behind those large wooden doors..he knew what was waiting for them, the group had no idea what was in store for them but Zeldris knew. The pain..the torment, the torture..he remembered it all while none of his comrades did. Zeldris clenched his fists, he looked up and noticed a crow staring directly at him. Zeldris cut his eyes at it and the crow immediately flew away.

Zeldris: "I've noticed something..every time I've comeback here. A crow has always been watching us."

Zeldris thought about it for a second, he balled his fist before leaping into the air. Zeldris engulfed his right hand in his curse, his fist was a bright luminous white.

Zeldris: "Lunar Jump!"

Zeldris ascended higher into the sky as he called out his curse spell, he pulled back his right arm before slamming it into the castles wall.

Zeldris: "Moon fist!"

Zeldris called out his attack out in a slightly annoyed voice as he smashed thd wall at the top of the castle cleanly. 

Tabitha: "Well..that is one way to get in but why not take the door?!"

Zeldris floated in before landing on the ground, things were way different..there was no dark room..there was no dimly red lights. It was an actual castle hallway and Zeldris could see clear as day. Zeldris stepped forward in the corridor, there were many doors on either side of each other.

Zeldris: "Going this way..I might be able to find Jack and get out of here with no problems. Ryo can handle the rest on taking down C.L.A.W."

Zeldris pondered as he wandered the halls, Zeldris came to a stop as he witnessed a man step from around the corner. Zeldris got into his moon armour before saying.

Zeldris: "Who the hell are you?!"

???: "I should be the one asking that question. How impudent of you, to walk into one's castle and boldly ask for their name. Go back to the shadows."

Zeldris: "Tch, your posh accent pisses me off."

The man boldly laughed. The man stood at 6'5, he had two silver dual wielding Axe's on his back. He wore a massive fur coat with a lions head as a hood. He wore black pants along with brown shoes, he had blonde beard along with blue eyes, he had a earring of a cross that hung down.

???: "Prepare for battle! I will exterminate all intruders."

Zeldris: "I'll just have to beat the answer out of you."

Zeldris said lowly as he dashed forward.

Zeldris: "Moon Armour!: Crescent Moon!"

Zeldris called out as he reached for his weapon, he grabbed the white dagger from around his waist before leaping forward.

???: "There's no form in your technique, how irritating. I will not enjoy this battle whatsoever."

Zeldris: "What did you say punk?!"

???: "You're far too prideful to even begin to think you can indulge in a battle with me. All that fuss from our leader for nothing, this boy is not the messiah."

Zeldris swung his dagger down with malice to stab at the man, the man's eyes in a flash turned into a cats eye before turning back to normal.. he grabbed one of his axe's from his back before effortlessly dodging the strike from Zeldris. As Zeldris landed the man swung the axe horizontally at Zeldris which resulted in him being split in half cleanly. Zeldris's Intestines hung from his torso, he legs slumped on the ground on the other side as blood covered the hallway.
