25 : don't baby me

Pulled up her car right in front of Jaeyun's penthouse, she stopped the engine and walked out while holding tight on her clutch. She stomped her feet with full of anger and doesn't car if she got hurts.

Pressing on the house doorbell multiple times but got no answer, she started to banging down the door frustratedly until it's opened by someone from the inside. Hyejin turned her head and saw Jungwon.

The younger boy was shocked.

“Jungwon?”

“Hyejin noona—”

“You know what, nevermind. Now, where is Sim Jaeyun? I need to meet him immediately!” she asked while swiftly pushing Jungwon who blocking her way to get in.

Awkwardly scratching his neck, he answered, “in his office, right there before the dining area.”

Hyejin took off her heels and went to Jaeyun's office. With an anger boiling inside her heart she pushed the door without knocking and got to see Jaeyun who typing something on his laptop.

He looks up and was surprised to see Hyejin there. But with that expression he knows something is off.

“Hyejin, what's—”

“What is your actual problem, Sim Jaeyun!” she shouted as she threw the small pillow on the couch towards him and gladly he catched it.

Jaeyun quickly stood up and went to Hyejin but she threw another pillow again. She sat down on the couch, covered her face and sobbing softly. Hearing those sobs came out from her lips, Jaeyun feels uneasy.

He kneeled down right in front of her, trying to held her hand but Hyejin pushed him away, heavily crying while her tears streamed down her face.

“Hyejin, what's wrong?”

Sobs.

“Hey, talk to me please?”

Sobs.

Softly caressed her shoulders he talked again, “Hyejin, baby you're making me worried.”

“Oh, don't baby me Sim Jaeyun! Get your damn hands off me!” she harshly yanked his arms from her shoulders.

She wiped her tears and look away but she can't, it was hard to ignore his presence now. Her heart became super sensitive after she heard Ethan's conversation.

“What happened?”

“You asked me, what happened? Well, let me tell you Sim! I'm having such a great dinner tonight with Ethan and I'm enjoying his company, every little topic he talked, his sweet manners. I'm feel so happy for the dinner but it's still irritated me a lot! Do you wanna know why, because everything he said related to you!” she stood up and roaming around the room.

Jaeyun kept following her around and even tried to catch her wrist.

“Do you wanna know why I agreed when Ethan asked me. It was because of you and your immatured behavior lately. It's stressing me a lot and you... you played with my heart up and down. For some times, you acted cold and another time you acted friendly with me. You even flirt with me! What am I to you, Jaeyun?”

She turned around and sees Jaeyun's face right in front of her with an expression. Hyejin look in another direction when Jaeyun wrapped his arm around her waist and the other hand cupped her face.

“I hate you so much. I hate this feeling and I hate my heart too. I know I shouldn't but I keep thinking about you tonight. Dinner with Ethan was great but it's much better with you because I can be my real self and not just Park Hyejin. Not just nodding and smiling.” her voice became soft under his touch as she speaks softly, her hands rested on his chest.

Jaeyun stay silent. Don't know when is the right moment to speak. His warm thumb wiped off the tears everytime it flows down, let Hyejin calms first.

But Hyejin is the otherwise. She is waiting for his response and got annoyed really quick. She's want to confirm everything now.

“Are you not going to talk? I already tell you everything and you just wiped my tears without any responses? Don't make me waiting, Jaeyun.” her fist hit on Jaeyun's chest while looking into his eyes.

“I'm waiting for you to calm down. I can't talk while you're talking. I need to listen to your thoughts first.” hearing that make her eyes gets teary again.

Hyejin became sensitive again and again then harshly pushed him away. He always makes her beg for him no matter what, same just like before. Wiped off her tears she tried to walk away but Jaeyun hugged her from the behind.

“I will talk but please, don't go like this. I don't like it, Hyejin.” he tightened his grips, not letting her walk even further.

“Bullshit, Jaeyun.”
