"Let's begin our little duel..., Shall we?"

Both of us taking ours stances as we pointed blades toward one another.

《Master, Am I correct to assume that you are using the fact that you won't be able to change the timeline much as a excuse to test out your new found strengths?》

I heard Ciel-san voiced out to me using [Thought Communication].

'Um... Maybe..?'

《Master, You wouldn't need to as you already have the knowledge and experience from Veldanava. But, I'm aware that you'll be continue to do so. Then.., I will just advise you to be more considerate and not go overboard because Master doesn't seem to have take into account your current predicament yet and... if it were to affect Akari too, you already know the consequences.》

Hearing her sternly voicing those word out within my thoughts just gave me the shivers...

'Yes yes... you didn't have to tell me twice. Also..., you didn't really have to make it sound like I'm one of those battle hungry maniacs, ya know? Plus, you noticed it too, right?'

《Of course, I did. I believe we may have some benefits coming here to the Armed Nation of Dwargon earlier then the previous timeline, Master.》

Why does that sound abit sarcastic..?

A small smirk began to slowly formed on my lips as excitement starts to kick in...

'To think that this timeline will be much... much more complicated than I anticipated... I'm starting to feel excited..!'

I'm so eager to see what the future holds for this world. I'm pretty sure Veldora or even Guy will find it as thrilling as I do.

'Ciel-san, I'm counting on you to protect Akari and the others if I were to accidentally use too much power during this duel.... I'll try my best to not let my excitement take over.'

Now then..., back to the main focus. He seems to not be moving a single inch, and from the looks of it... He's trying to find an opening in my stance.

Too bad, I ain't letting him get a chance to catch me off guard again just like last time. Especially the time of our first duel...

He said, signaling me that he's about to make the first move.

I was abit surprised by the fact that he just announced it out loud, but... without wasting time, he used it as a distraction for me to lower my guard because I was suprised by the sudden announcement and he speed blitzed towards me.

"Haze..!"

'Eh..?'

His movement became quicker and his presence was erased as he was about to release his first faze of the technique.

Without breaking a sweat, I dodged the strike coming from below pretty easily. Since to me, he was pretty much moving as if time was almost stopped around me. But from a bystander's or Akari's perspective, he was too fast just to even be seen by the naked eye. If Akari were to use [Though Acceleration], she would only be able to catch a glimpse of him.
