The last bell had just rung, and Agata rushed out of school after enduring hell yet again that day. She headed home in the car with her aunt who had come to pick her up. She didn't like her class at all: she felt surrounded by empty and superficial people whose only interest was going out on Saturday nights. She would have liked to join them, but she was never invited because she was seen by everyone as the strange one, the boring one, the one who spends the whole day buried in books, studying to maintain a high average. The perception of being excluded from anything organized by her classmates made her feel uncomfortable. In class, she would always sit in a corner, overhearing other people's conversations because she felt she had nothing to talk about with them.
Once she arrived home, while her mother was preparing lunch, she spent some time on the couch watching Instagram stories to relax and have a few minutes without thoughts. One story, in particular, caught her attention: her friend Laura had shared a link to an anonymous chat, asking her followers to keep her company. Agata became curious, clicked on the link, and was redirected to Google Play, which asked her to download an application she had never heard anyone talk about: Connected2me. She downloaded it, unaware that from that moment on, her life would be changed forever.
