"Mmh~ the Mitsugoshi company's restaurant really is something else, I've never heard of this 'Rosbif' before~"

Inside a very fancy and expensive restaurant, two siblings were seen sitting together at a table and simply enjoying a good meal together. One of the two siblings was a young woman; however, she was also the older one of the two. Her name was Claire Kageno, and she appeared to be enjoying herself from the looks of it.

"I'm glad that you like it, congratulations on your victory at the God Of War festival~"

On the other side of the table sat a young man named Cid Kageno; he was also the youngest sibling and appeared to be enjoying himself with his siblings.

"Speaking of which, you did see all my matches, right?"

While Claire was in the middle of cutting her food with her knife, she continued to speak with her brother and even asked him a question, which made him tense up a bit.

"U-Uh... Yeah, of course! It was cool when you cut down that guy while giving a thumbs up?..."

Cid nervously chuckles and smiles as he hesitantly gives his answer to his sister.

"IT WASN'T A THUMBS UP, IT WAS MY MIDDLE FINGER, YOU WEREN'T WATCHING WERE YOU?..."

It was unfortunate for the wrong answer, as Claire was suddenly on top and pinning down her younger sibling, all the while having the knife near his throat in a very threatening manner.

"I'm sorry..."

Cid couldn't help but sigh in annoyance; he was too mentally exhausted to even feign being scared, like a good mob brother should be.

'Yup, I knew she would be upset if she found out I've been skipping her match, which was why I asked the girls to set this restaurant date thing up...'

Though, despite the situation Cid was currently in, he couldn't help but smile to himself and chuckle.

'But I don't regret a single thing I did~...'

Cid had flashed back to when he was Jimina Seinen, entered the festival tournament, and basically dominated everything, watched a certain princess make a dramatic entrance, revealed his true identity as Shadow, had an epic showdown with another princess and a warrior elf, before ending it all with a dramatic finisher and power, reliving and remembering those moments absolutely filled him up with glee and excitement.

'It was just so much fun to live out my dream as a Shadowbroker, hehe~'

Before Cid could continue to think about himself, he felt his sister get off his body, which snapped him out of his thoughts and made him look at his sibling, who was looking at him with such disappointment.

"You're truly hopeless..."

Claire lets out a small sigh and shakes her head in disapproval; she then turns around and crosses her arms.

"I tried my best to be patient and go easy on you-"

"Choking me out and aiming a knife at me was you being patient?"

"-Not to mention all the lesson and training I've been giving you to become a stronger person-"

"Getting the shit beat out of me and being knocked into a nearby lake definitely counts as training."

"-Plus, as your big sister, I always did my best to take care of you and protect you-"

'I'm not gonna mention the many times you nearly got yourself killed if I wasn't around.'

"-But, despite everything that I have done for you, it looks like I have no other choice but to do something I hope you would never do until you are either old enough or strong enough like me."

Claire then turned around and looked down at her younger brother with a very different expression than he was used to.

"Cid, pack your things, me and you are taking the Hunter Exam together."

As soon as Claire said this, Cid couldn't help but look at her with a very confused expression, especially when she said it in a way that made it seem like he should know what that was.

"... A what?"

Btw this takes place at the end of Season 1 of Eminence In Shadow, you know, after Shadow kicked the ass of a Princess and Elf, everything will be focused on the HxH story after that, though will get back to Eminence In Shadow after the HxH thing, maybe even in the middle of it to, I'm open to suggestions

(BTW, letting you know now, Cid will be replacing Gon, mostly because it would make a more interesting story in my opinion, and I'll only be doing what's available in the anime of Hunter x Hunter, of course maybe I'll include certain things from the Manga, like the Hisoka vs Chrollo fight, but everything will begin and end with the anime, unless you can convince me otherwise)

Seven Shades= Royal Guard.

Single Shade, Iris and Beatrix=Hisoka, Illumi and Chrollo.

Named Shadows and Claire= Phantom Troupe Members, Zoldyck Family and Pro Hunters.

Numbers and Rose= Average Hunters and Zoldyck Butlers.

Alexia and Lower= Lower Hunters And Skilled Civilians.

(It's a weakest to strongest type thing, you can make your arguments if you think I'm wrong)
