Chapter 5 - Announcements

The news on the notice board was all about the events happening for the next three months. They all had so many mixed emotions because of this news. Everything was thrown at them all together. They had an upcoming test in the next two weeks, the annual parents and teachers meet was a week after their tests, then they had their sports meet a week after, their cultural and talent shows another three weeks later and finally their last event was a school trip. 

They were so happy and excited about all of this. Also, at the same time they were also worried about how they are gonna keep up with all of these things and handle the stress. Deep down all of them were secretly sad because when they saw these announcements, they soon realized that their year was coming to an end sooner that they thought. That's when it hit them that There was only a couple of days left for this month to end and they hardly had twenty days to prepare for their test and the other events continuously after. Then after the next three months come to an end, they will have maybe a month or two left for their finals and soon this year will come to an end. They all had the same thoughts running in their head. The quietly walked over to a table and sat down and started eating without uttering a single word to each other. The realization dawned upon them along with the painful silence. They would all meet next year again. They knew it too but, it still hurt them for some reason.

Tae POV:
As soon as we read the news on the board all of us went silent for all the same reasons. There was an awkward silence hanging in the air on our table today and none of us like it. We all wanted to break it. But none of us knew what to say. "Guys, what's the plan today after school?" y/n suddenly spoke up. I knew she was feeling the worst of all of us because she gets really close and attached to people once she thinks they are nice, and she likes them. I saw her hands slightly shivering. Per usual she was sat between me and Jungkook. I slowly held her hand under the table and squeezed it a little assuring that everything will be fine, and I would be there for her. She looked at me and mouthed a thankyou and smiled and I just simply returned her smile. Just like that, just because she spoke up, we all moved on from that topic and started discussing what we should do today after school.

Author POV:

They finished their lunch and the rest of their classes and left to go home.  They all had decided that they'd meet up at Yuri's place today evening.

Time skip - to Yuri's house~

They all had arrived at Yuri's house one after another. All except y/n and Jungkook. They all were just talking and laughing when they heard a car outside. "Oh, guess those two are here." Yuri said and was about to get up to go and get the door. "Hey, it's alright. I'll get the door." Tae told her with a smile and got up and went to the door. He opened the door and-

Tae POV:

I went to the door and opened it only to hear loud laughter and then I saw them. I saw her and unknowingly a smile crept up on my face. But then I saw her with Jungkook as always *eye roll* and another guy I didn't know. She had her hand on his arm, and she was laughing at something he said with her head on his shoulder. I don't know why but I felt an urge to go and stop them from laughing and talking like that. "Hey guys! Coming in?" I said loud enough for them to hear me. She looked at me and said "Hey! Are the others here too?" I nodded and they started walking towards the door. But that 'guy' didn't leave. HE WALKED IN WITH THOSE TWO. He also had his arm draped over y/n's shoulder. It ticked me off somewhat. I just know that I didn't like it. As soon as they entered the door Kook gave me a fist bump and y/n ruffled my hair as she walked in with the guy. I shut the door after them and followed them back inside. Everyone was cheering and I saw Jimin go in for a big bear hug with that guy then Yuri squealed "Yoongiiiiii!!!" and hugged him. TBH that guy kinda looked like a cat. He was just smiling and talking to everyone in there. Y/n then walked up to me and pulled me to that Yoongi guy by my arm "Yoongi, this is Taehyung my classmate. And Tae, this is Yoongi." she said. " Hey man!" he said and extended his hand for me to shake it. I just smiled, shook his hand and gave him a stern nod and walked away. "So, can we play?" Yoongi asked. "Oh, hell yes!" Kook said and Jimin vigorously nodded. " So, we'll get the things ready " y/n said and was about to walk away with Yuri when I stopped her mid-way. " Wait! wait! wait! What are we playing? What are you guys gonna get? Can someone explain?" I asked very confused. Y/n just laughed at my expression " I'm sorry Tae. I totally forgot. So, we have this board game that we all really like. It's called 'Citadels'. It's a role-playing game and it's awesome." she said, her eyes twinkling with excitement. I found it cute when she gets all happy and excited about something. "Okay! Can't wait to play." I said with a smile on my face. "Great!" she said. "Doggo come on. I'm coming with you to get the stuff this time." Yoongi said. At first, I actually thought it was kook because he is the only one that calls her doggo. At least I thought so. She nodded and they went upstairs.
