Chapter 5: Everything falls apart

"That your friend?"

Chapter 5

"How pitiful. For years I've been searching for warriors who could match my power, and all I get are softies." The woman would say. "You some kind of planetary hunter?" Jace would ask while summoning his new dual blades. "Multiversal hunter." She'd reply. Jace's expression would change from guard to worry. As well as Chloe's. "Wh- who are you?" Chloe would ask. "I'm Beth the hunter" she'd reply.

"And I've come to find someone who matches my skill. They just so happen to live here." She'd add. "You think I match your skill?" Chloe would ask. "No I don't. I think the blue haired one does." Beth would reply. "You mean my daughter you piece of shit?!" Chloe would yell. "Mhm" she'd reply.

Chloe would summon her staff as Jace summoned his blades.

With quick agility, Jace rushed Beth with speed attacks and brute force. Using his right blade held normally and his left blade held backwards. He'd twirl through the air at light speed as he struck Beth. But.. Beth would catch his attack. Jace would look in confusion as Beth's arm formed into a scaly dragon arm as she threw Jace into the mountain next to Bome Crawth. Shattering his entire ribcage and giving him a concussion.

Chloe would await Beth's move. Beth would rush Chloe with a kick as Chloe caught her leg and threw her into the air. Chloe would the jump up and launch her foot at Beth's chest causing her to fracture three ribs as she flew into a tree.
Beth would get up and slam Chloe to the ground causing her back to break and her ribcage to shatter. Chloe would moan in pain. As Jace passed out.

"So Blue how was your first day?" Luke would ask walking next to her. Her pen and paper would read "great! It was hard to make friends but I enjoyed it." "I'm sure you'll make lots of friends" Luke would say before patting her back.

As Luke and Bluebell arrived home they saw Chloe and Jace passed out on the floor and Beth awaiting their arrival.

"You've finally showed up, Bluebell." Beth would say looking back at her menacingly. "And who exactly are you?" Luke would say. "The name's Beth and your cousin is someone I wanna fight." "Beth?" Luke would say before laughing. "It's not funny!" She'd say. Blue would laugh. "I'm a multiversal hunter!" Beth would say as Luke and Blue cry laughing.

Beth would Blast Luke into a house wall as his back strains. Blue would give Beth a death glare before opening her mouth to speak. "Rip apart." Blue would say as Beth's flesh rips off of her body and her limbs rip apart slowly and brutally.

"Vanish." Blue would say as Beth's body parts vanished.

"Well that was quick" Luke would say. "Still wouldn't tell Chloe about your powers though, it might freak her out." Blue would nod in agreement.

Chapter 5 part 2: Momento morri

2 weeks later.

Beth's soul would be forming a new body. As she stared Lucy in the eyes. "Beth. You need to kill Bluebell. If she lives. I'll have to deal with her AND Hope. And I don't want to be a part of that. So. Kill blue. You're an extraordinary being, I believe in you." Lucy would say in the soul chamber she was trapped in. A grim land of bone and decay.

"Yes Lucy. I promise to kill her. I just need time to heal. And I want her to be fully trained." Beth would reply. "Very well. I'll send someone to push blue to her limits." Lucy would say.
