In a rural area of the small town of Ernsgray, lived a family of gnomes. The father was a butcher, the mother worked in the local tavern, and along with the parents there were five children. The eldest was named Skrita, she spent most of her days in the library a mile down the road. The second eldest was Spence, he mostly took care of his siblings and did all the cooking, next was Sircha and Minch, they both would play around in the fields and pester any creatures they saw. Finally there's Silvia, the youngest of the five, for the most part she kept to herself wandering around out of boredom. She liked to watch how the sky changed throughout the day, she would get lost in daydreams constantly.

On a windy afternoon, Silvia went for a stroll and on this stroll she came across something or rather someone. As she got closer, she noticed it was another gnome lying on the ground unconscious. The gnome looked just about her age, but just a bit taller with short brown hair wearing a very well worn shirt, with a few tears on the shoulders. Silvia being the person that she is, decides the right thing to do is to take the unconscious gnome with her back to her home. And that's what she did, with all the strength she could muster.

Arriving home, Silvia's family was busy preparing for dinner so she took the gnome to the guest house. Which was a small wooden shack with two cotton beds. And laid the gnome down onto one of the beds, and then knelt to the ground. Silvia then began to stare out the window as the sun started to set. She began to daydream of small pixie-like creatures painting the skies. After that a few minutes pass and the gnome wakes.

"Cough cough* W..whe..where the fucks am I?" Asked the gnome, sounding awfully dehydrated. "Oh-umm, you're in Ernsgray." Replied Silvia, pulling herself out of a daydream. "Could you give me some water?*Cough." Silvia stood and made her way to the well just outside. She filled a bucket up and headed back inside the shack.

She picked up a nearby mug, filled it with the water bucket, and then gave it to the stranger. "Here you go." After taking a huge gulp of water the stranger thanked Silvia, "thanks." "No worries, glad I could help. Now, um could you stay quiet for a bit, I'll be back soon." "Sure. Leave the bucket here for me at least." "I will, now goodbye, " she then walked out the door.

An hour passed, and Silvia came back to the shack holding a bowl of fruits. The stranger seemed more awake and had emptied the entire bucket of water. "Hello, I brought us some fruit," Silvia said. "Hi, thanks for everything so far. Would you mind if I stayed for a while longer?" Asked the strange gnome. "My family wouldn't be happy about a stranger staying here, but none of my family ever goes in here so, I don't see why not." "Thank you," the gnome sighed in relief. "What's your name?" Asked with a face filled with curiosity. "Raylin. You?" "Silvia! I'm excited to have a new person around."Excited Silvia. "I haven't been around people in awhile."Raylin said as their expression slowly faded. "Oh, well a new change every once in a while is good. Are your parents near?" "N..no," Raylin's voice dims "I doubt they're even looking for me." "Oh," Silvia pauses, "Hey, on the brighter side, you can say you've made a new friend." She offers her hand out to Raylin. The two gnomes both smiled at each other and shook hands.
