Five weeks later
Ari's POV
"Ugh! If you call my name one more time I swear, when I get up I will bite your head off." I calmly announced.
"But you need to get up now if we're going to make it to the doctor on time." Alex said almost whining.
"Just reschedule, I'm still sleepy."
He sat on the edge of the bed by my feet. "If we reschedule, then we won't be able to know what were having today. I really want to know. "
"Fine" I digressed. "But you have to get me ready because I'm too tired." I took a deep breath, "Why can't I have coffee?" I Whined.
He chuckled "You know why you can't have coffee."
I watched as he pulled out my floral jogging pants, a stripped sailor crop hoodie, and my bunny slippers.
Oh hell
"Who dresses you?" I asked with incredulity.
"I do. Why?"
I stood up, went over to my dresser, and picked out some black tights, a red undershirt, then opened his drawer that I emptied for him a week or so ago, and pulled out the same band tee he wore when he met me. I was going to pair that with some black flats. "Because what you picked out for me was hideous! " I scolded.
"I know, that's why I picked it out. To make you get out of bed." He smiled knowingly.
"Oh, okay." I said off handed taking off my shirt looking him in the eye.
"A-Ariel, what do you think you're doing? "
"Getting ready, what does it look like? " I asked as I moved closer to the bathroom door. I then took off my night shorts slowly, leaving me in my underwear.
He stalked over to me. "It looks like you're trying to seduce me into staying home."
I felt the doorknob behind me. "No, that's not it." I said reaching behind my back to unclasp my bra. As I let it slip down my shoulders, his eyes trailed it the whole way. As soon as he was about to touch, I quickly slipped into the bathroom and locked the door.
That'll teach him not to wake a pregnant woman up from her slumber.

*After I was finished with my shower, I put on the outfit I picked out, and went to the kitchen.
When I got there, Alex was just hanging up his phone. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah. We'll get something to eat on the way." I decidedly told him. With no protest from him, we left my apartment.
The drive to the doctor was tense because of the excitement bubbling inside the both of us. When we pulled up, my heart rate sped up.
We went into the waiting room, luckily this time there were no crying children, but there was someone else.
"Hey you're the beautiful Angel the stopped that crying baby a few weeks ago. How've you been handsome? " The troll looking receptionist asked.
Where's Kyle? Because this bìtch is going overboard.
Alex looked over to me uncomfortably. "Um, we're here to figure out the genders of our babies." He said as he wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer, but also placing me in between him and this... person, kind of like a shield.
Her eyes widened as if she just noticed my presence.
Yeah right, a grown man would come to the obstetrician/gynecologist office alone repetitively
