Military school for vampire boys and me
Like any other day, I was woken up to the sound of my mother shouting up the stair at me to get my a** out of bed. I have never really been a morning person as you can sort of tell. Well I better introduce myself; hi, my name is Nevaeh Jones. Yeah I know it sounds funny but it's actually heaven spelt backwards. My mom always had a thing for weird names because she called my younger Brother Exzaviah. Well back to me, I’m 16 years old, have natural red (not ginger, RED!) hair, light crystal blue eyes, medium height and I’m thin. Not to skinny I might add. My life so far has sucked as I have always had the mick taken out of me because I’m a rocker (into rock music and rock clothes sort of thing), always getting into trouble and have serious anger problems. Well wouldn't you be cranky to if you had to put up with a screaming younger brother - age 7 - a mother who never cares as long as she gets rid of you and a dad that left because he didn't want to have children and so called you his greatest mistake. So there you have it, my life story.
Let’s get back shall we.
Right now, after doing my morning routine of showering, taking forever to do my make-up and hair, getting changed and skipping breakfast, I’m finally out my door taking my time getting school as I’m already late. Not to my surprise I see Jason also walking down the street. "Hey babe...see that you’re also going to be late. Not surprising anyway, so I guess we both going to be going to see the principle AGAIN today" ...sigh... "Yeah I guess so, but it not like Mr. Carlton (headteacher) is going to miss me anyways as I’m in his office everyday". I sigh once again as we turn round the corner and see the stupid high school in front of us. "Well I’ll see you later babe," as he's saying this he give me a quick peck on the lips and rushes off to the boys half of the school. Oh, yeah forgot to mention boys and girls buildings are separate, but we have the same headteacher. Stupid head, just because he thinks girls and boys learn better when split up doesn’t mean he can split us up...or can he?
Getting to school was the easiest part, but getting into class un-noticed is going to be tricky as I have Mrs. Richards as my first teacher of the day. Stupid English teacher, why the hell would I need to learn English if I am English... but NOOOO, it's compulsory.
Flashback
"Nevaeh Jone's," once again it's me being shouted at by my English teacher for not doing my homework. "Where in god's is your homework, you have only been here 3 week and already you had more detentions given to you by me then I have given in a whole year" "why should I have to do ENGLISH homework when I am English and now how to read, write and speak it" "That is it young lady, to the principle's office Now!" Sigh
End of flashback
Nearly there, I think to myself. Mrs Richards is writing in the board and the door is nearly open. I might just be able to sneak in without her noticing. Halfway down the classroom only two seats away from my desk and what do I hear?
"Ah, Miss Jones, so glad you have finally decided to join the class. Instead of taking you seat you can turn yourself around and go to the Headmasters office as he want to see you. Why you are there you can also explain why you are late and sneaking into my class." Next thing I know everyone if laughing at me and my friends have huge smirks on their faces as this is nothing new to them seeing my being sent to the head.
Walking down the empty corridor is nothing new to me - sigh
Actually it's quiet funny really as I'm currently skipping and making funny face into the glass at the doors of other classrooms. The kids all start laughing at me and when the teacher turns around I’m no longer there (evil I know but what's the point in school really as we never seem to learn anything anyways)
