The event was slowly drawing to an end I was just waiting for Jaylynn to finish talking to a client.
I stared at the painting of me with a smile and someone approached me.
"Hey," she said and I turned around.
"Hi," I said and Future held her hand for me to shake.
"Kai tells me you're the girlfriend," she said and I shook her hand while being polite.
"Um yeah," I said awkwardly and she looked up at the painting behind me.
"How long have you two been dating?" she asked.
"Um-"
"It's none of your business Future," Jaylynn said as she came up behind her.
Future turned around and looked at her.
"Can we talk somewhere privately?" she asked Jaylynn who chuckled humorlessly.
"Future, I have nothing to say to you-"
"I'm clean now Jay, and I want us back," Future said, and something flashed between Lynn's eyes.

Not knowing what to do I turned and walked away.
"Fuck you Future," I heard Jaylynn say.
"Lettie wait up!"
Jaylynn appears in front of me and I stopped in my tracks.
I turned to look back at Future and she had this sadness inside her eyes as she stares at Jaylynn and me.
"Let's go, baby," Jaylynn said while taking my hand.
I allowed her to pull me through the exit and towards my car.
"Who is she Jaylynn?" I asked
"Lettie-"
"Jaylynn just answer the question," I begged.
"She's my ex," she said in defeat and I chuckled humorlessly.
"Wow- was this before you decided to no date-"
"Look she's the reason I don't date," she said and I started digging through my purse for my keys.
"Lettie she fucking broke me. And after I healed I swore to never get myself into another relationship but then your pretty ass came along and became my drug," she said and I looked up at her.
"Baby let's just go home and I'll answer any question you have prepared for me," she said before taking my keys from my hands.
She opens my door and placed the key inside its slot. She pulls away from the car and allowed me to approach it.
She placed a kiss on my forehead and I got into my car.
"I'll get my car and we can go home okay," she said and I looked at the gallery.
