Age of the Invincibles

Prologue

Hi. I'm Matt Bryan and I'm an Elite. Right, you don't know what that means. Well the Elite are what society calls people who were given powers. Who gave the Elite there powers? The Elite know about as much as the humans do. But of course, humans choose to not believe us. They never trusted the Elite. The Elite try to be heroes, but everyone is afraid that we are all bad guys ever since the majority went bad, abusing our powers and causing havoc everywhere. This is where my group comes in.
We call ourselves the Invincibles. Catchy, right? We fight to protect the world from the ones who go bad, we call them the Unspeakable. They have done horrendous things to entire countries. And it's up to little me to stop them.
Everyone there calls me Vince, cause I'm In-Vince-ible. (Hilarious, am I right?) I'm basically an improved human: super strength, super speed, immune to any harm, and so on. I'm 15 and have brown hair that's a mess and blue eyes. I'm kind of scrawny for a super human, but it's pretty fun to surprise people with it.
Then there's Jackson, who's 16 and is a brown haired, green eyed guy who looks like a total nerd, especially with his glasses. So obviously he's got enhanced intelligence. But he also can create scientific devices from the future! You know, like a flying car or something that hasn't been invented yet. He can also bring stuff from the past, but he usually only uses the first power, cause who needs the first wooden stick club in battle. He's known as Time Twister.
Also, there's Robin. The blond girl has fair skin, and blue eyes. She's 15, like me. Let me be honest, I have a giant crush on her, but I'm really good at hiding it. Well at least from her. We call her Natural Disaster. She has four different nature types she can control, but only one at a time. You'll find out more about her powers, but the world knows her as Flame. She only uses fire in action keep her other powers obscure to outsiders.
Blaise is my best friend of all time, my age. He's got black hair, green eyes, and a face that every girl loves. He's known as Backfire, cause that's his power. It's pretty powerful depending on who he's fighting.
There's also Brianna who's 15 and has dirty blond hair and intense blue eyes. I don't like her, you know, "that way", but she definitely was pretty. She has the power of telekinesis, mind reading, force field, and that sort of thing. We call her Athena for her mind abilities, although she doesn't have super smarts like Jackson.
We've also got Sophie, 15, a red head with blue eyes, light skin, and freckles. She was cute, but quite a fighter, and she kind of terrifies me. She has shape shifting and invisibility, not much but it definitely helps. I mean, who doesn't need a good tiger in battle every now and then?
We also have Hank known as Iceman, the big guy that is pretty quiet, Lilac known as Magma, a small but powerful 12 year old girl with an attitude, and Kevin known as Spin, a fast kid that lives to talk your ear off. But now that I've introduced the team, its time for you to hear our story, the story of the age of Invincibles.
