Chapter 7 Part 2

Date: Friday, March 13, 2020,

Liv's POV:

"What just happened right now?" I thought to myself, bewildered, as I stared down at my feet.

Andy had left suddenly, and it seemed like everyone's attention was now focused on me. Mike glanced at me briefly before following Andy, probably to find him.

My mind felt heavy with the weight of the situation. I couldn't help but wonder, "Why did Drake ask that? Why did Andy respond like that?" The shock and surprise lingered in my thoughts.

Suddenly, I noticed my heart racing, pounding in my chest. I instinctively placed my hand over my heart, trying to calm myself. Confusion filled my mind as I questioned why my heart was beating so fast.

As I continued pondering the events that had just unfolded, my heart rate was beating more and more. I found myself feeling like my cheeks were very heated up.

"What's happening? Why am I feeling this way?" I silently exclaimed, desperately searching for answers within myself.

Just then, a hand gently rested on my shoulder, causing me to startle. I quickly looked up and saw both Charlie and Heaven standing before me, wearing concerned expressions.

"Are you okay, bestie?" Charlie's voice trembled with worry. Both Charlie and Heaven were waiting for my response.

I mustered a weak smile and replied, "Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry. We should probably head to class now since lunch will be over soon."

"If you say so, Liv," Heaven replied uncertainly, glancing at me once more. We then proceeded to leave for our remaining classes, leaving behind the aftermath of the weird moment.

Stacy's POV:

I was standing there in disbelief.

"Andy just said he would date Liv in a heartbeat if they weren't siblings? In front of everyone," I thought. I was near the back seeing the whole event unfold when Drake went to Andy. I was speechless because my mind couldn't process it.

"Why, would Andy say such a thing?" I was trying to figure it out. I started to remember Andy wasn't playing basketball anymore, he was studying more. I remember when he turned down Drake's challenge which has happened but not this many times. I also overheard Rajat and Mike talking about recently Andy getting amazing grades.

"Something is definitely with Andy but I can't figure it out" I whispered to myself. As I was in my thoughts, my sister came.

"Hey Stacy, do you have any clue why Andy said that?" She said.

"No," I said.

"Ah, OK," she said and went away. After that Drake came back quiet.

"Are you good Drake?" I said.

"Yeah, let's just go." He said and so we all followed him.

I still wonder why Andy would say such a thing, and what his relationship with Liv is. Are they truly brother and sister?

Jane's POV:

As I heard that my heart felt an ache "Ouch" I thought. My brain was scrambling for what just happened.

"Andy said he would date Liv if they weren't siblings!? with no hesitation either, nor any blush on his face!?", I thought.

Well, Liv is pretty, and I can see why people would date her. She is kind, nice, and really smart. Ugh, this is annoying, she is not that pretty, I am way more beautiful than her.

I still don't know his reasoning, so I went to my sister.

"Hey Stacy, do you know why Andy would say that," I asked.

"No", my sister said.

I replied, "Ah, ok" and left.

I was in my own thought for a while, until Drake came back. My sister asked if he was ok, and he simply said he was fine and that we should go to our next class, so I followed them.

Drake's POV:

I just got home, feeling exhausted from the crazy and weird day of school, and tossed my backpack onto my bed.

"Ughhhhhhh, man today was crazy," I muttered as I lay down, staring at the ceiling.

"I still can't believe how easily Andy answered that question without hesitation," I thought to myself, bewildered.

"I expected him to be flustered and deny it, maybe even say something like 'She's my sister, what the heck is wrong with you?' But instead, he calmly replied that he would date her," I said, trying to make sense of it all.

As I reflected on the events of the week, more puzzle pieces fell into place.

"He's turned down my challenge four times already, and I've noticed him staring at Liv in class more. Not only that, but I caught a glimpse of his test paper, and it looked like he had an A... Is he doing well in school now? What the heck is going on with Andy? I always saw him as lazy, someone who didn't care about academics. But lately, he's changed so dramatically," I continued to mull over these thoughts.

"There's something fishy about Andy's behavior towards Liv... Could they not be siblings? No, they have to be. I've seen them together since they moved here, even though they don't look related. But Andy is different now, and it's frustrating not knowing what's happening," I sighed in frustration.

Realizing that dwelling on it wouldn't solve anything, I decided to give up on my thoughts and rolled onto my side.

"Ugh, thinking about this hurts," I murmured, closing my eyes and drifting into a short nap.
