Reagan Finally Wins The Bet

The Start Of Something New

I woke up this morning at 2 AM, all I really have to say is insomnia sucks. This is a great start to my first day at work. I quickly get dressed in favorite black jeans and T-shirt with my warmest sweater. Even though it was 8 degrees Farenheight, It was the warmest thing I owned. I don't deserve and can't afford something warmer. I got in my old car and drove to work.. Once I got there I parked my car in an open spot and went to walk in.
As I walked in I tripped and fell, of course I scraped my face. I simply got back up and walked straight to the room my boss said to go to.
I opened the door to see an alien of some sort, a Korean man bent over a Rubix cube, a woman fixing her make-up, some sort of dolphin creature in a war outfit, and at the head of the table there was a sleepy eyed girl casually sipping her coffee and working on some kind of corruption file on her laptop.

"Hello." I said politely. I don't like talking much.

The girl at the head of the table looked up and said "Oh.. your the new guy. I'm Reagan, the mushroom guy is Myke, the dude playing with the CHILDREN'S TOY is Andre, the mutant is Glenn, The woman doing her make up is Gigi, and that dude is Brett."

I waved hello and Reagan told me to sit at the empty chair next to her. She was so gorgeous up close. Just as I sat down the boss showed up on the big TV and told us we had an assignment. He said we were just going to kill the Benjamin Franklin spider living in the Linkin tunnels.

Everyone started to leave the room, and Reagan grabbed my hand and told me to follow her. I did as I was told and she led me to a weird looking van with a satellite dish on top of it.

"Get in" she said.

I piled in the van and just happened to get sat next to her and Andre.

"So what made you want to work here?" He said, never looking up from the puzzle still in his hands.

I stayed silent for a minute, and then said "I always knew the world was hiding something, that the man wasn't just a conscious figure in out minds. I thought here I'd find answers."

The whole van was silent for a minute, then Andre threw his cube down and said "Fuck! This is to hard!"

"That's what she said." Myke laughed.

I picked up the cube and solved in easily. Andre looked at me in astonishment and then grabbed the cube out of my hands studying it slightly.

"How'd you do that?" He said.

I shook my head and raised my shoulders.

"He doesn't like talking Andre." Reagan said.

I was a bit shocked but glad she clarified it to him and everyone else.

Glenn then asked "So what's your name? Reagan, you can tell us since you seen to know so much about her."

"Oh, good one." Myke said

"Her." I was shocked. My heart practically shattered.

"First of all it's HE, and second of all, it's Yn. Right?"

I shook my head yes, I couldn't believe she just backed me up like that.

Gigi "So honey, you gay?"

Reagan "Gigi-"

Me "No, It's okay, I'm pansexual and Polyamorous actually."

Gigi "I'm lesbian so I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. Adre and Myke are bisexual."

Me "Really? Oh wow, I knew there was a vibe. Glenn is as straight as they come though."

Reagan then placed her head on my shoulder, I looked at her only to find she was fast asleep. She really was tired.

"Wow, if she fell asleep on you, you must be really special, she won't even let anyone hug her or she'll punch them." Gigi said, still applying her make up.

I blushed pretty hard, I couldn't believe it, this really beutiful, mentally unstable girl sleeping on my shoulder.
