AN: YO! Hope everyone had a great pride month! This is inspired by Hayley Kioyoko I love lesbian Jesus she is the queen of queens and I just saw her recently and it was life-changing.

AN (very similar to Lauren Jauregui from fifth harmony's Situation): This is about Kara and Lena in a band with Harley and Kate, it is set a bit in the past so all of them are unfortunately in the closet but when a certain dick bag gets elected they hold a concert and give a speech to the world (because of social media) :) adorableness ensues. (ALSO I COULDN"T THINK OF A GOOD BAND NAME SO DON"T JUDGE)

3rd Person POV

Panicking Rainbows sold out stadiums and were sweeping the nation so it wasn't really a surprise to any of the band members that they were spending their Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

It still shocked every member that so many people resonated with their music and enjoyed it to the point that they were selling out their entire tour.

It was a sweltering June day and everyone was packed in tight so the heat was amplified more.

They were about halfway through their set when the lead singer Kara caught a commotion of people ganging up on what looked to be a young queer couple.

Kara watched for a second to confirm what was happening before yelling "Hey!" and quickly remembering the microphone she had in her hand. "Yo! You douchebags!" the group of men looked up at her shocked "Back off!" They started arguing but Kara couldn't hear shit with all the noise she said "Security get those dicks out of here now!" The crowd understands what is happening and starts cheering as they are escorted out.

Kara's POV

I see Alex to the side of the stage and she gives me a nod. We were planning to do this during the encore with our special guest but why not move it up a bit especially considering the situation.

I glance at Lena who was already looking at me and she gave me a reassuring smile. Harley and Kate both gave me a nod of approval. Harley left her drum kit and came to stand next to me, as Kate, and Lena did the same but kept their guitars by their side.

"While they are being escorted out we have an announcement to make." I reached done and asked quietly to borrow a young man's pride flag. He hands it over and a loud cheer erupts. "We as a band would like to make something perfectly clear to the world. We will not stand for hate, homophobia, transphobia, racism, xenophobia, or discrimination of any kind." More cheers erupted in support. "We also have a message for the new president of the United States." As planned our entire staff and crew that work for us including Yelena and Ivy walk behind us and we all hold hands in solidarity. "Queer people are here to stay and we are not going anywhere." I pull Lena into a kiss as Girls Like Girls begins to play in the background. It doesn't matter because cheers drown it out so it has to loop multiple times. I smile as I say Harley and Ivy kissing as well as Yelena and Kate. So much was going on no one noticed the music yet so once the cheers quieted I add "And to celebrate our queerness as a band and anyone in the audience. We thought it right to bring in a good friend of ours Hayley Kiyoko to sing her hit and the Queer Anthem Girls Like Girls!"

Madison square garden went nuts and without touching our instruments we as a group along with Hayley sang the song until all of us were nearly in tears.

2 years later

Kara's POV

"Hello and welcome back to the show!" Hayley says from her white chair on the large stage. "Please welcome the lead singer of 'Rainbow Panic', actress, influencer, soccer team owner, overall badass, and my good friend KARA DANVERS!!"

I walk out onto the stage and wave at the full audience. I see people wearing 'Rainbow Panic' merch and waving signs of support.

I am wearing my normal jeans and a flannel and wave to the audience as I take my seat.

I smile at my best friend and say "HI!" Big crowds never stopped being a bit overwhelming.

She returns the smile and says "Hi! Welcome to my show!"

"Yeah, I still can't believe you tricked enough people to give you your own talk show," I say with a chuckle.

"Yeah me either, so how have you been? We just heard that Rainbow Panic announced a new album and tour that we are all dying to hear!"

Cheers echo that as I say "Yes! We as a band are super excited to share it with you. The girls really wish they could have been here with me but the perks of having four of us we are all doing separate press interviews for the tour."

Hayley laughs and says "Yeah that's definitely been a struggle as a solo act. OH, I forgot to say congrats on your single with Taylor Swift going platinum faster than any other song ever! But I think everyone wants to hear how you and Lena got together?"

"Of course" I roll my eyes in a playful manner "Well we were high school friends. She caught me writing lyrics in a notebook and figured out a beat and the actual music that could match it. I showed her more songs and we just matched perfectly. We never left each other's side after that but it took us a lot longer to confess our feelings for each other. Once we started the band it made it harder because neither of us wanted to break up the band if we didn't work out"

"And here we are four years later and you are the power couple the queer world idolizes."

"Hey we may be the queer queens but you are still Lesbian Jesus. Whenever you find a girlfriend you will be the queer world's power couple." I know she had been talking to a girl who wasn't out of the closet and was pretty infatuated but I didn't want to give anyone the drop that was going on. Becca was a sweet woman and they deserved to enjoy their time together out of the spotlight. And it was a relatively new relationship. "But I didn't want to leave this show without one big announcement for you guys." Everyone starts doing a lap drum roll and I slip my hand into my pocket and slip the ring onto my finger as I say "Welllllllll...." I showed my hand "Lena and I are engaged!"
