CHAPTER SEVEN
( better than revenge )❝ i always make you blush ❞
YURI WAS UNAPOLOGETICALLY SPRAWLED all over Ah-ri's bed.
Something that Ah-ri really didn't appreciate, as she scrunched her nose up in distaste at the sight of her pale pink satin bed sheets all creased and crinkled.
Ah-ri was a perfectionist to the core, to the point where she was even neurotic over her sheets being tucked flawlessly without a single wrinkle in her bed, her pillows plumped to perfection, and her teddy bears— Yuri was currently throwing them off her bed. One by one.
"You're lucky I love you." Ah-ri watched, displeased as the bear she'd had since childhood ended up on its head next a pile of her dirty washing.
Yuri snuggled deeper into the duvet, scrolling through her phone as she graced Ah-ri an innocent smile, "I'm the only you need to cuddle at night."
Ah-ri brought her knees to her chest and leaned her chin against them as she curled up on the chair at her desk. The stuffed animals weren't the only thing Yuri had kicked off the bed.
Yuri giggled at her phone as she watched a video, "The comments on here are too funny. They're all tagging his Instagram account."
Ah-ri recognised the sound coming from the video. It was the same one everyone had been watching and sharing all over social media that day.
"I just know he's loving the increase in followers right now." Ah-ri rolled her eyes, though she couldn't help but simper when the Poopy Baby video popped up on her own feed as she scrolled down Instagram. "You can't deny though, he was so adorable as a baby."
Yuri sighed. "You know what makes me nauseous? Kitty Song Covey. She cannot be trusted."
"Come off it. She's not that bad."
Truly, she actually really liked Kitty. The American girl seemed nice enough, she had cool vibes and she was funny as hell. But being who she was at KISS, Ah-ri knew she had to choose her friends wisely. It would be a form of betrayal befriending Kitty behind Yuri's back, especially since they were both fighting over the same boy.
"I thought she would be off on a plane home now." Yuri complained. "I just know Dae had something to do with this. God," she scoffed in annoyance. "He's such a love sick puppy."
"You're the one who's being cruel for doing this to them." Ah-ri replied. "They really like each other."
"Yeah, well if Kitty could learn how to keep a secret then maybe she'd not be suffering right now." Yuri grumbled. "But if she could out Min Ho as the Poopy Baby, then she could easily spread the word about why Dae and I are doing this. And I do not want my parents finding out that our relationship is fake, or that I paid for Dae's tuition fees."
