Reconciliation

Prologue

"Ma'am, you can't go in there" yelled one of the newly maids of the new king of England. "Watch me." I stated pushing the door open only to see the king doing paperwork and I walked up to his desk. "So you decided to send me and my team on a fucking death wish." I slammed my hand on his desk making him look up at me. "I have no idea what you are talking about" he started to get up at the same time my dagger was pushed up against his neck.

"My love" he pushed the dagger down and walked around the desk and pulled me close to him. "I will never, I mean never send you out on a death mission when I just found out what's wrong with you." He stated at me with a soft smile making me look down in shame. "I'm sorry my king. I didn't mean to put-" he stopped me with a kiss. "I don't mind. When do you have to leave". He said softly, he can't stop it but he knew how strong I was and how possible it was for me to overcome this mission.

"Tonight, right after sunset we go." I said making my hands into a fist wishing I can hold him, but couldn't. He didn't tell the world who I was to him. To everyone, I'm just his loyal knight with no face but in private, I'm his Queen.

"I'll come with you." He stated walking back to his chair packing up his paperwork and placing them into his horse bag. "No you aren't!" I yelled following him out of his office to his room. "Baby, please. I'm coming, I can't lose you. Not now, not never" he kissed my forehead and went inside leaving me alone looking at the doors.

"Bladeeeeeee" yelled Craig running up to me with a smile. "I told you to stop calling me that" I smiled back at him. "I'm sorry, should we call you Queen?" Smirked Nate walking up beside Damian and Jake, who both are rolling their eyes. "Really funny" I rolled my eyes walking passed them to get out of this stupid castle that became my house on accident.

"You told him?" Asked Damian staring at me making me stop in my tracks. "What did he say?" Asked Nate, for once not joking around but has worried in his tone. "He's coming with." I stated turning his head to look at them. "We can't let our king die!" I stated having determination and courage in my eyes but they looked at each other and nodded. "Yes captain!" They shouted at the same time, making me smile because I know they won't let me down.

"Good, let's go pack." I smiled as they came running up to walk beside me as we made our way to the knights dorms.

"My king" "call me Jake" "we already have someone called Jake". As I listen to them talk I can't help but my brain to lose more brain cells. "Just call him Adrien and hurry it up!!" I shouted as mounting my horse to get Adrian's horse which was a nice brown horse with blond spots different from a kings horse but still a powerful horse. "Get on and all of you shut up" I handed Adrien the rings for his horse as I give my team a death stare making them shut up.

"Is she always this way to you guys?" Asked Adrien mounting his horse with the help of Damian. "What do except? Her to be your Queen on the battlefield?" Asked Nate as he and the others mount their horses. "No but" "She has to be like this, she's your loyal knight and the captain of the knights. She can't let weak emotions block her from keeping this place safe". Everyone stared at the back of me as I walked in front of them to the gates of the kingdom.

It was quiet for me unlike them. I hear them laugh, whisper, and giggle, like they are from school which makes me laugh and hold my stomach making Adrien ride next to me. "My captain". He smirked making me look over at him and rolled my eyes. He looked down at where my hand is resting and grabbing it. "I promise. Everything is going to be okay. That's why I'm here. I'm not letting you die, I wouldn't be able to live without you with how long I fought to get you." He stared at me in the eyes.

I stared down at my horses ears and then back at him. "What if we fail?" His smile faded and squeezed my hand. "We will figure it out. We always do. Me and you. Against the world" he smiled at me. "Like always" I stated with a weak smile.

"We are here" said Craig making all us stop. "For real?" Stated Nate with a raised eyebrows. "Are you sure because we are hardly away from the kingdom." Mumbled Nate bitting his nails. "Why? Are you worried about your whores in the box?" Laughed Jake holding his stomach from laughing to much as he gets pushed off his horse by Nate. "Enough" said Damian moving his horse in the middle of both of them.

"Craig is never wrong. This is it." I started hopping off of my horse getting my swords from the pockets as they did the same. "Baby, are you sure you want to do this?" I said holding his hand. "I need to do this. I have to get you back to show them my faceless knight" he smiled putting his medal cover hand on my cheek, leading against his hand as I put my hand over his. "I know baby, I know" he said softly kissing my nose and walking into the cave leaving behind me and my team.

"Blade" said Damian putting his hand out to try to comfort me but pulled it away as I walked into the building with tears running down my eyes that was noticeable to me.
