7-4-23

"Oh," my eyes instantly struck out as I approached the man. His body was very romantic, and my heart skipped a beat. My breath sank. He wasn't even looking at me. The chase began in my head. First, I need to get to know him.

But, I stand there gazing at him. He isn't aware of me, I mean, he isn't aware of me.

I tried to call out, but my mouth just opened and closed.
A voice whispered, "Isn't he handsome?

I turned, my feet were tangled, and I felt myself falling down. I couldn't believe I was going to hit the ground.
"Help," I screamed, in fear of breaking my neck.

Everything becomes fuzzy as I hit...

A voice whispered, "Hey, you alright?"

I opened my eyes, "I think so."

"Let me help you," his voice said.

"Thank you," I muttered. My chest rises, "Am I in heaven?"

"No, you are lying on the ground," he smiled.

"What happened?" I managed to ask, my head banging.

"I guess you lost your footing," his voice said.

"I, you," and I am lost for words.
"It's alright, you don't have to talk right now," he smiled.

"Thanks!" I breathed a silence.
He carries me inside his place and lays me down on the bed.

He sits on the bedside, watching me.
"Can I get you something to drink?" He asks.

"Water, thanks," I stutter.

And, he gets up, heading out of the room, not saying anything.

My eyes closed...

I opened my eyes, "Where am I?"

"You fell down and bumped your head. How are you feeling?"

"I think... I don't know, maybe a little sad," I related.

"I am Colton Riviera, just moved in, and you are?" He asks.

"Nelly Hurst, so you are my new neighbor, the highlight of my day?

My heart spammed out of curiosity.

"We are. If I didn't know any better, I would think that you had been watching me. Have you?"

I leaned forward, "Maybe?"

"Nice to meet you," he smiled.

"Same here, but unfortunately, the circumstances of having to be in your bed is different," to my liking.

"It's alright, I have never introduced myself to a girl in my bed before now."

"I feel like a baby, I don't want you to feel obligated to take any time fussing over me."

"I think that I better go home. Thanks for helping me, I feel much better," I stammered.

"Whoa, you are not going anywhere. An accident is an accident, just rest. You are safe here. I will make a visit to your mom so she will know that you are safe," Colton said.

"You don't have to do that," I muttered.

"I can, and I will," he smiled.

"Alright," I can't say that I wanted to leave.

And, he smiled, "Stay as long as you want.

"You are a heaven sent, my hero," I felt my cheeks flush.

"Anytime," he said.

"You are an angel, the way I see it. I welcome you with open arms. Don't fly away," he teased.

"I am hardly capable of doing anything right now," I love how this is going.

Colton kisses my forehead, "I won't be gone for long, just stay," he declared.

"Tell my mom that I got a boo-boo, and I will be home later," my voice travels.

"Sure," he replied.

I picked up the glass of ice water and started to drink some water.

Colton leaves, closing the door behind him.

I finished the water and didn't realize how thirsty I was.

It felt so good, I was in Colton's bed, and I felt like a Princess, his Princess to be exact.

I landed myself in his bed. How lucky can a girl get? I smiled to myself.

Now, how do I get him to fall in love with me? I think I am in love with him already.

It's not every day that I come across a gorgeous creature. Does he have a girlfriend? I hope not.

I must admit that I have caused such a ruckus, falling, in his arms, in his bed. Him waiting on me hand and foot. I have him for the 50-seconds and counting.

My mind is made-up.
My mother is going to flip, fuck.

I don't care. One way or another, I want Colton, only Colton.

I am not sure how or what I have to do, but somehow I am...

Enjoying myself, I promise myself that I am the girl he wants.

I breathe a silent note. Nellie is hotter than a pancake.

Flip me over, and I can feel his hands exploring every inch of my body.
And it gets better, feeling his body against mine. His kisses brushed against my lips.

I have waited for this, my heart flames burning desires.

"Nelly, Nelly," a voice startling me.

Coming to my senses, I open up my eyes. I am realizing that I am in Colton's bedroom, in his bed.

"Oh, forgive me, I fell asleep. Did you talk to my mom?" I ask.

"Yes, she gave me your phone, and for you to call her. She is busy, and since you are close. She says to call her if you need anything. I told her you fell, and you are resting and that you are safe. I explained everything to her. She was glad that I helped you. She was nice, we talked, and I assured her that was what neighbors were for to help one another. I like her."

"Mothers are special," he smiled.
"Yeah," I muttered.

"They have a purpose, which I can't deny," she was overwhelmed, wanting me out of her life, for one. But, I decided not to rant about.

I love my mother with all my heart, but she thinks I am going to grow old and be an old maid.

She rants on that when she was my age, every man talking was at her doorsteps, begging her for a date.

Flowers, dates, kisses, love. She expects me to have the same.
"A life without a little romance is not a way to live," she beamed.

"I, for one, like my life as it is, and counting on you to maybe except it. I marvel at your wonders. I am not dead, I have a wonderful life just as I am," I didn't stutter.

She smiled, "I am only looking out for your best interest, you!"
