"I was raised in SF but with roots from India"  said valedictorian Miriam while making her speech at college graduation.

After it was done she went to meet her parents who congratulated her.

"So, what future are you thinking of now, marriage perhaps??" Asked her mother.

"Maybe, but I also want to focus on my career Amma" said Miriam, not feeling like getting into an argument by rejecting the idea.

"But don't look for people just yet"

They got home and Miriam went out a bit later.

"Where is my daughter going now?" Mr.Thakur asked.

"Oh just to the library to study" realisng too late that she couldn't use that excuse anymore

"Why to study now? And even if you did what would you?" Asked Mr. Thakur

"Just gonna look submit some job applications and resumes appa" said Alia nonchalantly.

So, making up a lie just   time, she left.

In the car,  she changed into a much better outfit, one that was more 'adult'.

She drove a few miles and stopped at a house where it seemed like there was a party going on, well I mean there was.

It was Austin's house, the most popular boy in college, but not anymore I guess.

"Excited because she had never been to a party before, Miriam fixed her hair and makeup, unbuttoned a button on her shirt and walked into the door.

She found a group of friends she could talk to and went up to them.

"Wassup party people"

Everyone and I mean EVERYONE stopped to stare at her in a VERY disapproving way.

"Heh, nevermind" she apologized, awkwardly

A few hours into the party, her best friend CJ, walked up to her  seeing that she was in a corner alone.

"Cmon, get a drink in you, it'll be FuN" Cj said nudging her

"Alright fine, but only because there's no school tomorrow"

"And we'll never have it again!" CJ said drunkenly

A few drinks later, everything went blurry and then, everything blacked out.

Miriam woke up the next morning, but couldn't recognize her room

"Huh, I really got drunk last night"

Then she felt something, then, they pulled her into the bed, or should I say, he?

"Wtf!" She thought as this was happening

Then, she saw Austin.
