Got him

Most of Jungwon's advices were nothing new, even if the support was enjoyable. Thankfully, he still turned out useful.

Hugh was obviously not the type of man to play hard to get, and Jungwon immediately realized it. He took it very seriously and did not advise me to ignore his messages or play inaccessible.

However, he did tell me to not act too independent.

"He's going to think you're not attracted to him if you categorically refuse his help," explained Jungwon.

"I refuse to play dumb!" I replied.

"I'm not telling you to play dumb. But just let him help." He smiled. "Like you're doing with me right now."

"And, is it working?" I joke back.

"Of course, that's why I keep helping," he sighs.

This fake flirting act is a lot of fun, especial with Jungwon, since he's surprisingly easy to hang out with, when he's not trying to humiliate me, but I quickly put an end to it. It was starting to feel a little too real...

All of this to say, as small as it was, Jungwon's teaching worked. Hugh and I became more than friends!

But it didn't end there.

"He may be different from all your former trashy trophy boyfriends, but I know you still want the clout," declared Jungwon. "Why don't you invite him to Charlotte's pool party this weekend?"

As much as I hate to give Jungwon reason, I had to admit I was really looking forward to show off my perfect man. Especially after this fiasco with Colin.

So, I did as my teacher told me, and invited Hugh to the party.
