Jacks pov) we were all sitting in Luke's room when dad opened the door he looked panicked
" Dad whats wrong" I asked
" Your mom and Lacey got into an accident" dad said and we froze
" How bad is it" Quinn asked
" It's bad they said your mom's alright but lacey she's critical" he explained and Adams face became pale
" Let's go then" Luke said we wall got up throwing shoes on and we got out to the car and drove to the hospital
Once we got thier we found out mom's alright just a few cuts and bruises along with a broken arm and lacey was rushed into emergency surgery Adams been quite ever since
Dad called our family to tell them and I called Nico since he's really close with lacey and I texted the group chat that consists of Trevor Alex and Cole

After that the doctor said we could go see mom and we did
" Mom how you feeling " Luke asked
" I'm aright how's lacey" she asked and we all looked at each other not knowing what to say
" She was rushed into emergency surgery" dad said and mom started crying
" It's my fault if I didn't take my eyes off the road we'd be home " she cried and we all held our tears back
" Mom its not your fault I..it was bound to happen " Quinn said
Luke Quinn and dad were comforting mom and I was watching Adam he was sitting in the corner of the room in a chair staring off into space so I walked over and grabbed his shoulder scaring him slightly
" Let's go for a walk" I said and he nodded standing up and we walked out side of the hospital
" How are you so calm " he asked and I chuckled
" I'm not im just hiding it somebody's gotta help keep you calm" I said and I watched him fiddling with his fingers
" Do you think lace is okay" he asked and I nodded
" Yea she's Hughes and were resilient" I said Causing him to smile
" I keep thinking of the past from when we first met to our first date to when we got engaged and it hit me like a hurricane I can't lose her jack she's my everything " he said tears sliding and I hugged him
" She'll be alright now let's get back in thier " I said and we went back to the hospital back to my mom's room
Adam's pov) once jack and I walked back to Ellens room I sat back in the chair starting to zone out again and I kept getting flashbacks

"Adam come join me" lacey said as she started dancing in the rain
" No I'm good" I said and she looked at me with her infamous puppy dog eyes
" Pwetty pwease" she asked and I caved who can resist her
We danced for hours until we were soaked
And the next thing I know our lips are connected

That was the day we became a couple
I was knocked out of my trance to Luke waving his hand in front of my face
" Lacey's out of surgery do you wanna go see her" he asked and I nodded getting up and we walked to her room seeing her asleep made me breathe out in relief and I walked in grabbing her hand causing her to stir
" Hi handsome" she said and I smiled
" Hi beautiful" I said kissing her head
