Keiko's POV
I was practically jumping with nerves and excitement, mostly excitement. Today me and my adoptive sister, Ema, were moving in with our new stepbrothers. When father told us he had remarried I was really happy for him, Ms. Miwa seemed really nice and like a perfect match for father. But the best and perhaps most worrying part was that she has thirteen sons! I always wanted a big family and having a bunch of brothers seems kinda fantastic, I get along better with males anyway so it's better than having tons of sisters. Besides I already have the best sister I could ask for.
"Chii, make sure you're real careful around those males. You too Kei-chii." Juli, Ema's squirrel warns from inside her bag. I know talking squirrel, weird. But I've always understood him since I met him(I thought I was crazy at first), thankfully Ema understands him to so I'm not a complete lunatic. We were currently riding a train to our new home. "There's a whopping thirteen of them, after all."
"Oh, Juli. That's all you've talked about since it was decided that we were moving." Ema said.
"More like ranted. 'Chii be careful! Kei-chii be weary! Damn those wolves!'" I mocked as I pet the hostile squirrel.
"I don't sound like that Kei-chii! What were Rintarou and your new mother thinking?! Tossing you two alone in a horde of males while the two of them go live in a different house?" Juli ranted.
"It can't be helped. Dad and Ms. Miwa are both busy with their jobs." Ema reminded him.
"And most importantly they're newlyweds." I jutted in.
"But that means putting you two in danger!" Gosh he's stubborn. I plugged in my earphones blocking that rodent out as we now walked to our new home. Sorry Ema but I'll leave Juli to you to deal with, I'll stick with admiring the graffiti instead.
I was brought back to reality by a tug on my sleeve, immediately I pulled my earphones out and turned to Ema.
"Yeah?"
"We're here." I looked around to notice we were a few steps away from an apartment building with a moving truck just pulling away. Cool. I then took notice of the two males out front. One looked to be really young and adorable with salmon colored hair and big brown eyes while the other looked much older with dark brown hair and brown eyes..Are they brothers of mine?
"Excuse me, um..." Ema started as she stepped in front of them, me lingering a few steps behind.
"Hi there. I had them take your stuff to your rooms." The older one spoke.
"Oh, all right." Ema's seems nervous maybe I should do the talking? Nah I'm pretty weird.
"I'm the eldest, Masaomi. This is the youngest, Wataru." He continued.
"Hello, Onee-Sans!" Wataru exclaimed happily. I beamed at him taking a step forward to lean on my sister slightly. This kid had a contagious smile.
"H-hello." I let Ema speak first trying to remain polite and not gush over his cuteness. It only worked for a few moments.
"Aw! It's so nice to meet you my new Otouto!" I said waving enthusiastically, I only barely managed to resist hugging him. In my efforts I started humming with excitement, maybe even bounced a few times. "Gomen, I'm just really excited! We both are looking forward to living here starting today!"
"We look forward to having you." Masaomi replied with a smile. He seemed like the calm but happy type, didn't Father say he was a doctor or something?
