In the passenger seat of his luxurious car, I sat looking through the screen at this unfamiliar route, he was driving. There were a lot of strange-looking trees not to mention the strange men walking around in Black jacket suits. The atmosphere was cold yet chill.

" What is this place," I asked 

" This is where I go to have lunch in the days, don't worry you will like we are almost there and yes we will be back on time" 

Suddenly we pulled up at this restaurant-looking place called Wine and Dine, By the looks of this and how it is built I can tell that is very old which makes this lunch date or trip more exciting.

" Don't worry it's much better on the inside" He said as he held my hands 

The view from the inside was amazing, it was very elegant and sweet smelling with Jazz music. I would eat here all the time if I ever had the chance to do this again.

" Do you like it?" he asked

" Like is an understatement I love it"

" Welcome back Shane, it's been a while since I saw you with the company, now who is the beautiful young lady you have here"

" Well hello Mister I am Alexa and I am his employee"

" Nice to meet you, Alexa, I am Dawn A very good friend of Shane, it's nice to have you both here today now let me take you both to your seats," He said as he hugged Shane by the shoulders 

They seem to be pretty close friends, the way they talk and vibe with each other says it all. But one thing that's on my mind is, is Dawn a Demon or is this place a hangout spot for demons like my boss Shane?

" Alexa, are you ok, you seemed unsettled. what's on your mind, I am assuming you have a few questions you want to ask go ahead I don't bite " he said with a cheesy smirk on his face 

" you don't bite" I repeated in a whisper 

" Yes I don't bite unless you want me to, " He said quietly 

This guy really Knows how to get me activated.

" Is this a demon hangout?" I asked 

" Well yes and no, you see it's a free for all place however this town is ruled by demons there are a few humans here that have befriended demons. for example you and me"

" So demons and Humans live together here, wow that's interesting"

" Sorry to interrupt your conversations, here are your dishes, and don't worry Shane it is on house"

" I see you're a regular here," I said 

" Yes I am Dawn is my best friend and he owns this beautiful place he pays for my meals all the time, so it's no biggie"

" Well aren't you eating, you only made breakfast for me this morning, and now you didn't order anything for your self"

" Well Alexa, you see demons can't eat human food, we survive off human blood. We can eat the food but we must vomit it back up afterward to avoid poisoning"

" You kill humans,"  I asked 

" Yes the bad ones, but we have our sources of getting blood which I will show you at another time"
