Choice

SEUNGMIN:

I chucked my clothes into my luggage, not bothering to fold them nicely.

I was annoyed.
Annoyed with my parents, my so called 'brother', and most of all, myself.

Just when me and Innie were getting along, of course it had to be ruined.

I hated that Taehyung was the favourite child.

I hated how I had to change my lifestyle habits, just to match with his.

It's almost as if, I didn't matter.

"Seung, have you seen your brother?" My ma called from outside my room.

"He's not my brother, and no, I haven't seen him", I hissed.

"Don't say things like that, he is your brother", My ma opened the door, poking her head in.

"Get out", I coldly glared at her.

"Seung, I get that you miss your friends. But you must support your brother", She frowned.

"Support? Why didn't I receive any of this so called, support?" I bit my lip.

"What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean. All you guys do is put me down. If that's what you mean by support, then you did very well", I looked away.

"Seung.."

"Just get out"

Seconds later, I heard the door shut. My room dimmed, as there was no longer light from outside anymore.

I stuffed the last of my items into the luggage, before zipping it up.

"TAEHYUNG, WHERE WERE YOU?" I heard muffled shouts from outside.

I placed my ear onto the door, trying to hear what was going on.

I lurched back as I heard a loud knock erupt on my door.

"Oh, it's you", I rolled my eyes.

Taehyung shut the door and sat me onto the bed.

"I'm so sorry Seung", Tears were sliding down his face.

"What?"

I shuffled backwards, slightly uncomfortable with the sudden closeness.

"Now I know why you were so mad at me"

FLASHBACK

N/A:

Seungmin slammed the door, his school items in a box.

"Hey Seung, miss me?", Taehyung beamed, his arms opened.

"No. I have to ditch everyone I love for the person that I rarely see anymore. For the person that has neglected me. For the person that has never been there for me. For fucking you", Seungmin coldly hissed.

Taehyung stood in shock, his arms slowly returning to his sides.

The next day, Seungmin ignored Taehyung the entire day.

"Seungmin please", Taehyung grabbed onto Seungmin.

Seungmin snatched his arm back, slapping Taehyung on the face, hard.

On the following day, Seungmin woke up to Taehyung arguing with his parents.

"ITS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD KIM TAEHYUNG"
