The sun reflected of the ocean cutting bright fragments of light. The calming sounds of the deep blue waves lapping the boat accompanied by the shrill cries of seagulls filled the air.
A girl peered over the side staring into the deep abysse, it called to her.
She leaned forward, the ocean still calling and taunting her.
The boat wobbled.
Then...

Cold dark water surrounded her.
Small silver fish darted out of the way before returning to their groups.
She froze, her arms and legs trailed above her.
Bubbles floated to the surface like transparent pearls.
She looked around on amazement at all the fish.
The she remembered her boat.
Her eyes darted anxiously to the surface, the small boat had begun to float away. The sounds of seagulls and the waves now distant.

Hurriedly she began to swim upward toward the surface but something was pulling her down.
She looked down but there was nothing there.
Out of the corner of her eye she realised that all the fish were gone.
They had disappeared.

A shiver ran down her spine as she had the feeling she was being watched.
