The Life of Justice Jay

Saturday

I woke up the next morning so excited for the day ahead. It was probably five o'clock in the morning because it wasn't even light outside yet. I ran to the closest guest room trying to find Hallie. I found her fast asleep in the one next door to my room. Other than my parents room, mine was the biggest bedroom in the house, and hers what right next to mine.

I literally ran and jumped on her bed. "Hallie!! It's Saturday!!"

She pushed me off, "Thank you Captain Obvious... it's also 5:17!"

I was too excited to go back to sleep. "I know but it's Saturday!!"

"Ok. Go make me a smoothie and then I'll wake up."

I jumped off her bed and ran down stairs. I had two strawberry smoothies made in about four minutes. I grabbed two blueberry muffins and the smoothies and ran upstairs almost spilling the smoothies.

I jumped on her bed and said, "Okay WAKE UP!"

She tossed and turned until finally waking up. "What the heck Jay?"

"I'm sorry but it's time for some girl talk. I saw what happened yesterday, do you like my cousin."

At this point she was totally awake, "Are you blind, he's gorgeous, and I've liked him since the sixth grade when he moved to our school. I wanted to cry when I saw that he got me that necklace last night."

I laughed and smiled, "I knew it. I shipped you two so much last night when you fell asleep on his lap."

She blushed a little, "Honestly, I was asleep at first, but once he rested his hand on my back and was stroking his thumb across my arm I didn't want to move. So I just relaxed there enjoying being in his arms."

We both squealed a ton and I got up to go take a shower. I knew the second I left she'd fall back asleep. But I didn't care. I was starting to realize how much I loved Hallie. She was everything like me and my best friend. I never really had a best friend before and hadn't been able to connect with someone. Everyone loved me because my Dad was Jensen Ackles, and I always thought they just used me to get to my Dad. Hallie was different, she loved me for me. Today was just the day I'd find that out. I was going to let her get dressed before telling her what we were doing for the day. We needed to leave at 8:00 to make it there in time. I let her shower and get ready, and by then it was about 7:30.

The guys walked in about ten minutes later. They had already eaten at their place, and Jake came up and put his arms around me. I was hoping he'd give me a "Good Morning" kiss but I new it wasn't the time or place for a first kiss. He just looked at me with his amazing green eyes. They reminded me a lot of my Dad's, in a non-weird way. He started to say, "How did you sleep beautiful?" as he let go of me and let me grab my purse so we could go. He put his arm around my waist as we walked out.

The three of us were in the front doorway when I called up to Hallie. "We're going, are you ready?"

"Yeah I guess, but are you going to tell me what we're doing yet?"

Jake and Tom laughed and went out to get the car ready. I was surprised my Uncle was letting Tom drive.

"You'll see when we get there. Just make sure you have your camera and lots of money." I smiled as I met Jake outside. He was standing outside of the car with the door opened waiting for me to get in. Tom and Hallie sat in the front, as she tried to get it out of me where we were going.

"Ok, I need my camera and money... are we going to an amusement park?"

"With two incredibly handsome guys, I don't think so."

Tom looked in the rear view mirror at me, "I don't know, I could see you and Jake making an amusement park pretty romantic." Jake just laughed and grabbed my hand rubbing his thumb across the top of my hand. He winked at me and kissed the top of my head. I wondered when he was going to finally kiss me.
