Zane's POV

With the questions done WonderWoman, who introduced herself afterwards, and Batman started leading me back to the area we left I guess towards the others.

I was happy when we were walking back because being near them made me feel better, but should I feel bad that I only want to be around them cause they might help me?

We make it to the others as they are standing in an open area with some of the other people from the wreckage.

KF was the first to notice us." Ugh! Finally, since he isn't in handcuffs I'm guessing that means he's one of us now?" He questions gaining the attention of Robin, Aqualad, and Superboy. The boys walk over to me with smiles and Superboy with his normal frown.

"Not entirely." Batman starts." He won't be a part of this team, nothing is going to change my mind on that, but he will be staying here in the cave. Just think of him as another house guest."

"Ah, what! This doesn't seem any different from when we found him at Cadmus. All he'll be doing is staying cooped up here, not exactly a big change." Robin points out.

' To be fair, he's right, this isn't any different from Cadmus. Me just being stuck levels below ground, this is just with no scientist or gross hallways.' I didn't say this out, I couldn't, I didn't feel like I had the right to.

"He won't be stuck here for the rest of life, just think of this as monitoring him, we will see what happens and decide from there, fair?" WonderWoman steps in holding her hands up to try and calm the boys.

Aqualad sighs." They are right," Everyone turns to him when he speaks." Superboy is already easy to figure out, everything was in a system and he is the copy of Superman. We know nothing on-"

He stops himself.

'oh, that's right I never told them my name huh?' I was going to speak but Batman spoke for me.

"For now he goes by Z."

'Z?' Why didn't he tell them my actual name? I don't know how to feel about it, Zane is really the only thing I remember about myself apart from my age, it's something that always stuck with me. I reach into my pocket to feel for my squishy toy only to find it no longer there.

'ah, it must have fallen out when we were escaping...darn.'

Aqualad nods " We know nothing on Z, no background or history with Cadmus. It's best to just have him here for now and figure it out as we go."

They were quiet for a while before Robin and KF nod and Superboy crosses his arm.

"Well since we have something to call you now, I go by Robin, the speedster is Kid Flash, and this is Aqualad, and well you know about Superboy." Robin introduced while pointing to the ones he named off.

I nod" Nice to meet you."

Mount Justice; July 8th, 8:04 EDT

It's been a few days and me and Superboy started to get used to living in the mountain. To be honest, it's not as bad as Cadmus.

At least they let us go outside, that's all I really do now is spend time out there especially near the water on days where the heat would be too much.

So during the time here me and Superboy started talking more, kind of? I don't know, we both don't really talk much, so we would try to have a conversation but it would be 2 or 3 sentences or words before we would nod at something and end the conversation there.
