|Chan's pov

Chan was sleeping. You could consider it a good sleep, the kind of sleep you finally get after a long week and it's the weekend. Their schedule had been hectic these last few days. The leader needed this night for so long and yet.

Yet something woke him up.

He thought he told the members to get a good sleep too and if not, at least being quiet for the others knowing that unlike the other dorm, Changbin, Jisung, Hyunjin and himself usually went to sleep at an indecent hour in the morning.

But there he was, distant muffled cries and a loud door closing sound that broke his precious resting time.

At first, he decided to ignore it and try to return to his sleeping session, but... his mind couldn't help to wonder what was happening to the owner of the voice. He couldn't quite point out from whose member it was and it kept bugging him. So naturally he got off his bed and entered the corridor.

Apart from the voice, there were no other sound to be heard, and it was easy to follow it to its source.

Jisung's room.

Now that the leader was near the closed door, it was clear the owner of the voice was none other than Jisung.

Was he in pain at this hour in the morning? He knew the talented rapper had some back issues these days, but he never mentioned it to be this painful to Chan. Maybe he didn't want to worry him as he knew the older was so protective of his members? But he should have said it anyway instead of agonizing in his room at nobody knows what hour in the freaking morning!

Sighing in frustration, Chan knocked softly at the door and tried a "Hey Jisung, it's Chan, everything's alright?"

Surely the other didn't planned on being caught, and some shuffles could be heard on the other side of the door.

" Hm, yeah, yeah everything's good hyung. Sorry, did I wake you up?" The boy asked, not opening the door and his voice a little breathless.

Was he really alright?

"You sure? If you need anything, you know you can ask me. You sounded in pain earlier." Chan insisted, not really convinced about the younger's state.

"Yeah, don't worry! Just... Just had a bad dream. I'll be quiet, I promise. Sorry again hyung..." Jisung answered, brushing off the issue. They were going to have a little talk about it the next day because that was the worst attempt at lying Chan witnessed from his friend, but for the moment, it was better for them both to finish their night.

"Okay, don't stress yourself too much Sung. It's ok if you take a little rest. Have a good night." Chan said softly, voice interlaced with worry.

"Thank you. Have a good night too. " The younger finished, and somehow Chan could hear a little bit of guilt in his way of speaking.

Sighing a little against the door, the leader turned around and started heading back to his room when he heard Jisung again.

"I told you to be more careful! He nearly caught you." He whispered, clearly annoyed. Chan was about to ask what was going on when another voice answered the younger.

"It's ok honey, he didn't see me. Besides, if you had kept your whinny mouth shut, maybe he wouldn't have woken up."

Honey. Only one person called Jisung this way, and it was too easy to recognize that it was one of the members.

Minho.

But what the hell was he doing here? He wasn't the type to stay awake this late, and not to mention his dorm ain't here. Concentrating on the conversation behind the wall, Chan furrowed his eyebrows at the next words.
