August had come and gone by in the blink of an eye, with time I had managed to cope with what I had seen at the private welcoming party The Seven hosted, however everything about that night still haunted me from time to time. As a result, I settled some distance between us, I hadn't attended any other gathering, and since soccer season had begun there were no more private events, every time the players won a match, they would celebrate in the attic of the north wing, and all of Valhalla behave themselves in such an incredible way that you would never imagined that in closed doors, were no cameras nor common folk were allowed, their reunions tended to end in a very dark sexual way.

School got harder every day and everyone's mood was off, maybe even a little depressive. Furthermore, it was mid-September and it was either cloudy or rainy, we rarely saw the sun, making everything gloomier. I honestly loved it.

I was on my way to the east wing, where I had agreed to meet Imani for a study session, when a storm broke out. I knew I probably should have run to find cover as everybody else was doing, yet, I didn't, I enjoyed my walk with the cold wind and the drops of water hitting my face and wetting all my clothes.

I found The Seven having lunch.

-Hi- I greeted catching their attention.

They all turned to look at me a little puzzled by my presence and my appearance. I was conscious I was a mess.

-Tu devrais sécher ton chiot avant qu'elle gâche le tapis- said Kaden to Amelie, grinning mockingly after she eyed me from head to toe; Killian and Zian chuckled.

-Kaden...- reproved her Nox, to which she simply rolled her eyes.

I had no clue what she meant, but I didn't need to speak French to know she was making fun of me. Nonetheless I was surprised to learn the Russian siblings, the British boy and the Italian spoke French.

-I didn't know you all spoke French- I said without thinking.

-There are so many things you don't know cub- said Killian sternly.

I swallowed hard for a second, while they all stared at me intensely, like animals analyzing a possible prey or perhaps a threat.

-Come on Soph...-called me Amelie- Let's go upstairs so you can dry yourself, I'll lend you some clothes-

Amelie led me to the girl's floor, which was more colorful and decorated than the guy's.

-I share the flat with Kaden and Imani- commented Amelie as we entered their place.

The first thing I noticed was the small kitchen that had a dinning bar table with a bowl on the center of it, filled with packages of candy, chocolates and chips. Next to it was a small living room with one large white sofa that had a blanket and a couple of stuffed animals on it, in front of a big TV. The French girl guided me through a stretch corridor adorned with lots of photos of the three of them, some were visibly taken lots of years ago; I wanted to observe them more carefully, but I didn't want to be invasive and obvious, so I kept moving.

-That's Imani's bedroom- announced Amelie as we walked past the first door- Ignore the mess please-

For what I had seen before the blue-eyed girl closed the door quickly, the Arab had tons of sticky notes and books over her desk, plus she had lots of papers covering the blue walls like posters. We walked past a second door, that room was tidier, it had shelves filled with books, the walls were accessorized by paintings and photos, and there was a big window next to the bed.

-That's Kaden's- explicated Amelie as we kept walking to the next door- And this is mine-

She opened her arms inviting me in. Her dorm room had pink walls and a big beauty vanity. The walls had magazine photos and framed newspaper articles; they were all about her, about plays that she had done and photoshoots as a model.
