Irina sighed as she wrote in her journal.
"Alot has happened since I started living in Brightveil Orphanage. Its been a week since I first arrived. Other than the attack from the fallen angels its been quiet. Evina had members of The Church come the day after the attack and they used their magic to repair the broken parts of the building. I've met all the people that live here now and I think I've learned enough give small amounts of information on them"
Irina looked at what she had just wrote and stretched before starting the next portion
"Evina- The caretaker and owner of Brightveil Orphanage. She thinks of all the children that live here as her own.
Cenera- Evina's daughter. Has the ability to use healing magic. She has a cheerful personality. Tends to most of thechousehd chores. Cooks most meals.
Shiki- he seems to look up to the other boys in the orphanage. His eyes seem to change color. May be a trick of the light. Needs more investigation.
Alexis- helps with the household chores. Doesn't help with cooking. Seems to have a crush on Gabriel.
Gabriel- he seems to be quite cheerful. He seems to have some kind of rivalry with Raziel. Needs more investigation.
Lucian- he is quiet and seems to open up to the other boys. May be scared of girls as he doesn't interact with them much and even seems to avoid contact with them.
Mayumi- the younger of the Morningstar siblings. She is quite cheerful. Seems to be extremely close with her brother. According to Cenera she is capable of using water magic. She seems to have seen form of amnesia and doesn't remember much of her childhood.
Raziel- the older of the Morningstar siblings. He is by far the most mysterious and interesting person in the orphanage. He is quite protective of his younger sister. He refuses to talk about his past. He dissapears often. Needs far more investigation. "
Irina yawned and looked around the library
"So quiet.. I guess I should go mail this.."
Irina tore the page she had just written out of her journal and put it in an envelope as she stood up. She walked to the table where they put outgoing mail and left her envelope on it.
As Irina walked towards the hallway she turned and saw a light in the corner of the library and turned to walk to the light. When she got close to the source of the light she peeked around the edge of a bookshelf and saw Raziel sitting at a table with large piles of books.
Raz turned a page and continued to read quietly for a couple more minutes and Irina watched him quietly until he broke the silence.
"I know you're there. You can sit with me if you are that interested in me."
Irina's face flushed red after he spoke.
"I-intersted in you?! That's not the case at all. I was getting ready to leave when I saw a light. So I came to investigate where it was coming from. That's all."
Raziel smirked and tilted his head to look at her with his calm gold eyes
"That doesn't explain why you were watching me read."
Irina walked over to the table and sat down in a chair opposite him
"Sorry. I wasn't trying to spy on you or anything. I was just suprised. You have so many books piled up.."
Raziel continued reading as she spoke.
"Once I finish these piles of books I'll have read every book in this library."
Irina stared at him in shock. She struggled to find something to say in response and soon Evina walked into the library with the other children except for Lucian and two strangers.
Raziel closed his book and set it down as the group walked over to them.
"Who are these people?"
Raziel looked the strangers up and down and there was silence until Evina spoke
"These two women came from the church. They have been assigned a job"
The first women introduced herself
"Good evening. My name is Reine. I am a seer. I was tasked with trying to fortell your futures."
The second women took a small bow
"Good evening. My name is Kiss. I am Reines bodyguard. I apologize for the sudden appearance"
Without farther word Reine sat in a chair and began her job
"I am tasked with reading your futures. Please come and sit across from me one by one"
Shiki sat down first and Reine read his future
"It seems that you will become seperated from your friends in some way for a temporary time. But you will be reunited and you will stay with them until you die."
Alexis was the next to sit down
"You will soon become in a relationship with the man you love. Your relationship will face few hardships and you will be happy with your relationship."
Cenera was next
"You will master your special form of magic. This magic will save the life of a man whom you will fall in love with."
Mayumi sat down next and was obviously nervous. Reine ignored her nervousness and continued
"You will soon be reunited with a long lost friend.. That's all I can see for you."
Mayumi nodded and Irina took her place.
"You will soon face hardships that will force you to rethink what is important to you."
Gabe sat down next and Reine stayed quiet for a moment before speaking
"You will become the hero that will slay the demon king"
Everyone stayed quiet for a long moment before Gabe sighed and Cenera spoke
"The hero huh? I guess that fits you. Right Gabe?"
Gabe laughed a bit and nodded his head as Raziel sat down
Reine sat in silence longer than she had for any of the others before speaking with a sad look n her face.
"You.. Will become the next demon king."
