"What's your choice."
The sergeant asked Captain Price

"No- We can't"
He responded with a serious tone,
"We have to wait for him"

He can't do this him, not right now when he's at his lowest. He cannot betray Simon, he just lost the person he cared the most.

"But sir- her body might rot in this place--we don't want him to see the love of his life decaying in this shithole" The sergeant replied, he was being reasonable.

It was needed to be done, with or without him.

You're gone, she's gone.

His love's gone.

Price closed is eyes and sighed, pinching the temple of his nose bridge before saying anything.

"Very well."

I'm sorry Simon, says Price.

"Proceed with the funeral"

---

"Where is she?"

"Where the fuck is She?"

He snapped, he angrily shouted as the venom of his voice filled the room.

"John, where's my wife?" He repeated, he's weaker. Crying and desperate for an answer. He need to know where you are, he needs you.

"Simon you have to listen to me- calm down we can talk this out" Price tried to calm him down, slowly approaching him, trying to give him sympathy and aiming to calm him down to avoid him from causing another trouble.

"She's gone" Price said.

He looked at Simon with pity, the sight crushed his heart, Simon has completely broken down, his cries now filling the room and leaving no air for them to breathe.

"No- no she's not"

"She was just here"
Simon protests

"When help came she's already confirmed dead, Simon i'm sorry-"

"Then why?!"

Price looked at Simon with confusion.

"You- you shouldn't have saved me price! Why the fuck did you save me" he weakily stood up, holding on to the nearest thing he could hold.

"When you knew she was gone?!"
Tears began to fall, tears that nobody saw but you.
"Saving me and knowing she'll not be here when I wake up why tell me! Tell me why is that a good idea?!"

"Tell me Price- no I can't. I won't do this" he exlaimed

"Send me to war, torture me, make me fight terrorists but please- I beg you don't make
I live without her please" he pleaded.

He cried tears because of you, he screamed love for you. And he'll draw blood for you.

It was the end for her.

No.

It was the end for both of them.
