🔞 Chapter 41: My Alpha

"Several of our allies are sending their alpha princes and alpha princesses here to train for the summer. Eunwoo, I want you to watch them and learn everything about them that you can. You are the future Emperor of Voreion, so I want you to know who will be your enemies and who will be your friends. You need to learn who to trust and who to not trust." Jungkook tells his son who listens to his every word.

"Yes, Appa," Eunwoo responds and looks at the list of princes and princesses that will be coming.

"I do not wish to put too much pressure on you, but because Voreion is large and prosperous, many other kingdoms are eyeing our weaknesses. You are being watched because you are the Crown Prince which means that you must prove to them that you are the strongest. Do not worry because your mother and I are always by your side, but I want you to be careful about who you befriend and let close." Jungkook explains to his son who quickly nods.

"I will not be a weakness for our people." Eunwoo smiles at his father.

"I am already very proud of you. Do not worry about trying to make me proud. I have been proud of you from the very beginning." Jungkook smiles and lovingly cups his son's face.

As the father and son discuss how to deal with the various princes and princesses that will be arriving in a week, Taehyung climbs to the top of the highest mountain without telling his mate or son. To his horror, his son has turned out to be just as protective as his mate. They have their fun, wild moments together, but Eunwoo is beyond protective of his mother.

"If those two knew what I am doing, they would kill me." He grumbles as the snow and wind whip around him. "But this is pure magic." Taehyung smiles and sits down in the snow. He watches as the snow dangerously whips around him. 

While Taehyung relaxes on the mountain, Jimin and Jin stay away from Jungkook and Eunwoo because they know that those two alphas will ask where Taehyung is, and they promised Taehyung that they would not let Eunwoo and Jungkook know where he is.

"Samchon, have you seen my Eomma?" Eunwoo asks when he spots Jimin eating a strawberry muffin in a corner.

"I have not!" Jimin shrieks and shoves the entire muffin into his mouth.

"Where is he?" Eunwoo's eyes glow when he realizes that his mother is out doing something dangerous once again.

"He is ... relaxing." Jin nervously saunters over and grabs Jimin's hand.

"Where. Is. He?" Eunwoo repeats as he crosses his arms in disapproval.

"Damn alpha pup," Jimin grumbles as he glares at Eunwoo. "You do realize that your mother wished that you would be free-spirited like him, right? You will end up suffocating him! So, chill!" Jimin shouts as he glares at the alpha whose possession and protectiveness have grown.

"Jimin, where is he? He is still healing from slipping off of the cliff only a week ago!" Jungkook storms over when he cannot link with his mate who is blocking the link.

"Well, there is that," Jin grumbles as he and Jimin look for a way to escape.

"Alpha! There you are!" Jimin shouts and runs over to Yoongi who is suddenly confused.

"What is wrong?" Yoongi asks as his human mate clings to him.

"Those two are bullying me," Jimin whines and then glares at Jungkook and Eunwoo.

"Why are you bothering Jimin?" Yoongi's brow raises as he glares at Jungkook and Eunwoo.

"Taehyung is up to something, and these two are hiding it." Jungkook huffs and crosses his arms as he glares at Jin.
