16- staying with love

Winter flew with Hailstorm and his winglet back to Jade Mountain. Wintet could only hope Hailstorm wouldn't freak out once he found out that Qibli and him were dating and arranged to get married once they were 7 years old.

Qibli flew close by clearly happy for Winter, as he was smiling that goffy way Winter loved. Winter flew closer to Qibli, the warmth from his scales radiated into the air. Winter smiled a bit at Qibli as he saw Jade Mountain.

They all landed at Jade Mountain and Hailstorm then said "Shouldn't we be going home?" Winter replied "You probably should but I'm staying here for now." Hailstorm then said "Ok, what happened while I was gone?" Winter then said "A lot, the sandwing succession war is, the Queen of the Sandwings is Thorn and I have been arranged to get married."

Hailstorm jumped in shock at the last thing as he said "You're getting married, I really did miss a lot. Who is the lucky dragon?" Winter turned bright blue and said "It's the goffy sandwing we've been traveling with." Hailstorm seemed surprised and said "Wow, Narwhal and Tundra are letting you marry a Sandwing, wow things definitely changed."

Winter nodded and said "Yeah, more or less, me and Qibli were arranged to get married to stop a war between Icewings and Sandwings." Hailstorm smiled and said "Well, you two seem to like each other so at least you'll be happy together."

Winter smiled and said "Yeah, you should probably go back home, me and Qibli are going to be here if you need us." Hailstorm smiled slightly and said "Ok, well I hope to see you soon and also if you need some help planning your wedding im all up for helping."

As Hailstorm flew off Winter couldn't help but smile at the fact that at least one of his family members were ok with him loving Qibli. Winter cuddled up to Qibli, his warm scales felt amazing against Winter's cold scales, Winter fell asleep next to Qibli, he didn't care who saw them, he just wanted to be able to love Qibli.
