Poem #6

I don't want to see you hurt any longer,
Someday -- you'll be stronger, Yuki
No matter how many times you fall
If my songs were the one to start it all,
then I'll keep composing
Until you find your genuine smile again

Saving Enanan and Amia, giving them peace through my songs
That alone warms my broken heart
But that was only a start
To a life-changing encounter
on that snowy night
Now, all I'm focused on is you, Yuki
I need to save you, I don't care what it takes
I couldn't do it alone, but I'm not alone anyway
I'm never alone, no matter how dark my life may be right now
Everybody in Nightcord -- You guys are special to me
And I care about everyone

That day when I visited my father in the hospital,
then I saw you collapsing from sickness
I wasn't going to leave you there
What you needed was tender care
And I gave you just that
When I held your hand, trying to ease your pain
Your ice cold hand clashed with my warm one
But that's okay, Yuki
Because since I was able to give you some hope to live,
I was also able to give you some warmth to carry on

It may sound selfish to say,
but I don't want you to give up

Despite the different pains we were suffering from,
we managed to find each other

We've been through so much as individuals
but we've gotten stronger together
Our pain connected us all,
and I'm thankful for that hope -- no matter how small
